Blood On The Dance Floor have announced a full N. American/UK tour entitled “The Scene Is Dead” with support coming from Jeffree Star, New Years Day, and Davey Suicide. The tour begins in Oct. in Albuquerque, NM and ends in Dec. in Tuscon, AZ. Tour dates can be found below and ticket information can be found here.

Having just seen Davey Suicide less than a week ago, I’ll say that he puts on one hell of a show. Definitely a lot of fun. As for the other acts, I haven’t seen them, so I can’t attest to their live performance. Anyone wanna leave their thoughts if you’ve seen them? READ MORE

We’ve got exclusive breaking news that Russell Dixon, drummer of New Years Day, was not only kidnapped, but that he was seen being brutally beaten before the kidnapping took place. If I were remaining guitarist Matt Lindblad, I’d be in a panic room right about now with a shotgun fully loaded. This marks the fourth disappearance for New Years Day, which probably means that either Hollywood Waste should consider paying a ransom or whistling a jaunty tune and strolling the other way. Look at the recent news: bassist Anthony Barro and guitarist Jake Jones have both gone missing and now Bloody-Disgusting has learned exclusively that singer Ashley Costello has also not been seen or heard from in a while. New Years Day have released The Mechanical Heart EP today (order your edition here) and are ready to hit the road for the Vans Warped Tour in just a few days. They also recently released a video for Two In The Chest, One In The Head, which you can check after the jump. Personally, I think they sound like Paramore with a Hot Topic Gothy twist to them. Nothing wrong with, right?
