“Came Back Haunted”, the first single from the upcoming Nine Inch Nails album Hesitation Marks is here!!!
I dig the song! It has a good chorus and I’m waiting for a higher quality version to come along so I can hear the layering (especially on the chorus). It sounds a little bit like Year Zero, something I’m hoping the rest of the album shakes off. Perhaps this is just a bridge to something really different?
The follow up to 2008′s The Slip, Hesitation Marks will be released September 3rd, 2013 via Columbia Records. Listen to the song below!!! READ MORE
Trent Reznor is embracing the power of the Internet like no other, using it to continually engage fans of Nine Inch Nails, and his new project, How to Destroy Angels.
Bloody’s Jonathan Barkan recently shared his top NIN music videos, which prompted me to re-watch them all. It also had me obsessing over the unreleased “Broken” short, a bootlegged video that resides in my old room in my parent’s house in Chicago.
Thanks to Reznor, I won’t have to wait until August to watch. The Academy Award winning musician has uploaded the never-before-released “Broken” short to Vimeo so everyone can enjoy the 1993 masterpiece.
“This 1993 short film, directed by Peter Christopherson, collects the videos from the NIN Broken EP and ties them together as a “snuff” film. It was never officially released due to its graphic content, but was leaked in the 90s, and became a widely-traded VHS bootleg. A high quality burnable DVD version has since leaked onto torrent sites.”
It’s is warned, though, that it was never officially released due to its graphic content (VERY NSFW). READ MORE
The video game industry has grown exponentially over time, and it’s only going to get bigger. In a poll I made up right now some people would argue that the video game industry has grown to be even bigger than the movie industry. Bringing in billions and billions a year, over the past 10 years the gaming industry is seeing much more people from movies and tv making the cross platform jump into working on video games. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is no exception. Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame scored the theme song for the game. David S. Goyer who helped write the original Black Ops as well as the Batman Begins series is again writing Black Ops II. Check out the featurette video below where David, Trent, and the games Devs talk about Black Ops II.
Call of Duty Black Ops II will be released November 12th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Mr. Disgusting tweeted a badass video that I had to share with all of you. Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and wife Mariqueen Maandig’s project How To Destroy Angels has debuted a really awesome video for their second single, ‘The Space In Between’, on Pitchfork.com. Bloody, fiery, hypnotizing and beautifully shot, I highly recommend taking a few minutes and watching!
