If you’re a Nintendo 3DS owner who’s aching for some steamy mercenary on mercenary action — in 3D — then keep an eye on the 3DS’s eShop tomorrow, March 7. The Mercenaries began as a mode in Resident Evil 4 before becoming its own game on Nintendo’s handheld. It comes with eight playable characters from the world of Resident Evil (Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Krauser) and a slew of maps — over 30 — that can be played alone or in co-op for the manageable price of $19.99.

Our major consoles are getting Lords Of Shadows 2, while the latter is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Mirror Of Fate takes place about 25 years after the original game as it follows Gabriel’s descendants.

E3 2012: Say Hello To “Gears Of War: Judgement”

Just a few days back we broke wind of a new Gears Of War game to be announced at E3. Yes, broke wind. Well, Gears Of War: Judgement has been announced and it’s definitely not was I was expecting. I think most people looked at it as if it could be a prequel to the original series. Turns out, well, that’s pretty much the truth. However it doesn’t center around Marcus and Dom, but Baird and Cole. We can look forward to an epic back story coming to life and an all new multiplayer mode. Also, health grenades? Fuck yeah. Lots more past the break.

The Gamestop Exclusive 3DS Circle Pad Pro Is The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread.

If you are like me, you love dual joysticks. It was pretty stupid foolish of Nintendo to release the 3DS with only 1 stick, but they have almost always been a 1 stick kind of company. Also, playing a game like Resident Evil Revelations on the 3DS can be quite the challenge. But now, there is the 3DS Circle Pad Pro you can get exclusively from Gamestop. The Pro only costs 20 dollars, so it’s not a major hit to your wallet, and can really help your gaming situation.

I know if I ever end up getting a 3DS, this will be purchased right along side it. I will also be mailing Nintendo a punch in the mouth for not already having dial sticks on it. READ MORE

Below is some excellent gameplay that should get you in the mode for the game, and get your giblets all warm and gooey. Or something. It’s late.

See Dead People In Your House With ‘Spirit Camera’ This April

A few weeks back a new horror title was revealed with striking similarities to Fatal Frame. Makes sense, since the game’s being developed by the same team behind the series, but this one comes with a fantastic twist: now the ghosts are in your house. Spirit Camera is an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that uses the Nintendo 3DS camera to put the ghosts in the real world. This is an exciting evolution for the genre, but I’d like to ask that no developer ever makes a game that does this but replaces the ghosts with clowns. Seriously, don’t do that.

8 See Dead People In Your House With Spirit Camera This April

Spirit Camera follows a young girl names Maya, who has to break a curse that was given to her by a Woman in Black. To accomplish this, you’ll need to use a handy 16-page book called the Diary of Faces, which will almost definitely be as creepy as it sounds. Look for it to come out on April 13, or Friday the 13th (I see what you did there, Tecmo) Head past the break for some gameplay. READ MORE

E3: Nyko Changes The Game With Kinect Lens For Small Spaces

Nyko has made TONS of awesome gaming peripherals. But the items they are showing off at E3 this year might just be the absolute best. If you bought a Kinect, but your gaming space is small, you’re shit out of luck. The damn thing can’t find you. I have a decent sized gaming area and I still have to completely move the couch out of the way and it’s just barely enough. Check out the video below to see this amazing add on in action.

E3: Super Mario Is Back! In 3D, Of Course.

Come the end of this year, Mario is back on the Nintendo 3DS. The new Super Mario looks about as close as you can get to Super Mario 64 (My personal fave). The game is (obviously) a 3D platformer, however the real 3D is supposed to help the gamer make their way through the game. Basically helping the gamer make hard jumps from platform to platform by being able to better judge the depth. Anyone who has played through Mario 64 knows how insane hard a lot of the platform jumping was.

E3: Star Fox 64….3D?! Hell To The Yeah!

So in the era of Nintendo 64, Star Fox 64 was definitely one of my most played games, especially the multiplayer. Along side Bomberman and Goldeneye, the multiplayers were incredible. Well, Nintendo is bringing Star Fox to the Nintendo 3DS.

3 E3: Star Fox 64....3D?! Hell To The Yeah!

Well, the game is being remastered with updated graphics for the 3DS. It will have 4 player online multiplayer. It’s going to make use of both screens by displaying your game on the top, and dialogue and other characters on the bottom, which is super nerdy and perfect for this type of game. Looking down and seeing Peppy flipping his shit is going to be awesome. Screens past the break, and the game will be out September 11th on the Nintendo 3DS for 40 balloon doggies. READ MORE

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Recruits Barry F#%king Burton

I almost feel like if it wasn’t for the absolutely TERRIBLE and HILARIOUS voice acting for Barry Burton in the original Resident Evil, he wouldn’t be around today. Either way, his voice actor now is worlds better than back in the day, as we welcome him with open arms to Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

Along with Barry, you can also play as Chris Redfield, Jack Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Rebecca Chambers and Claire Redfield in the game. The levels we will be playing in are remastered stages from Resident Evil 4 and 5. Past the break for screens of the always sexy Barry, and look out for the games release exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on June 28th. READ MORE

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Recruits Rebecca Chambers

We haven’t really seen or heard from Rebecca Chambers in a while, and honestly, I’m offended. I mean, I thought we had a good thing going Becks, and you haven’t even called? Texted? You must be out gallivanting with that young studly ragamuffin Billy. WELL I WON’T STAND FOR IT!

Excuse me, I flew off the handle a bit. Young Becky C will be joining us on our Mercenaries 3D adventures on the Nintendo 3DS this June 28th. Screens past the break. READ MORE

However, Nintendo will rectify shorty after the release of the 3DS by bringing Super Mario 3D out. It is currently being made by the same team that had done the Super Mario Galaxy games for the Wii.
