If you miss your old skool survival horror, it may be time for you to blow the dust of your family friendly Nintendo Wii. It’s almost time to go back to your horrific roots. However, as much as this hurts my insides, Project Zero II: Wii Edition is coming out in Europe and Japan only. It’s almost mind blowing because I would have thought there would be an extremely large North American audience for it. Either way, me sad. My online searching tells me Wii’s are region locked, so that’s a bummer. Anyways, past the break you can check out a decent amount of screens, and those of you in Europe and Japan can look forward to the games re-release on June 28th in Japan and June 29th in Europe.
Two years ago it was announced that Fatal Frame 2, also known as Project Zero 2 would be coming to the Nintendo Wii. Well, the classic horror game is coming, only not to America. Many of you are usually a little upset when we announce a contest and it’s US only. Well, it’s payback time for you. On June 28th the game hits Japan and on June 29th it hits Europe. So America gets bitch slapped with no FF2! You win some you lose some I guess. That wont stop me from spreading the word to you lucky readers who get to play the Wii version. Head past the break for the trailer, and more info about the switch over to the Wii.
Legend Of Zelda is a classically awesome series that has been around for many many years. And as every new game is released I ask myself, will it stand up against the rest? Will they be able to capture the magic of the original? A Link To The Past? Ocarina Of Time? I’ll leave that for you to judge.
The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be coming out in the 4th quarter of this year only on the Wii. READ MORE
Another video game that defined my childhood Chrono Trigger will soon be on the Wii Virtual Console. Another classic Square RPG that has been named one of the greatest video games of all time by tons of fans and critics.
The game originally came out in 1995 on the Super Nintendo, and you can throw it alongside Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (US), Secret Of Mana, Earthbound, and Secret Of Evermore, as some old school life changing RPGs. It will release May 16th on the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. Past the break for features and story. READ MORE
It’s going to be hard for anyone to live up to Batman: Arkham Asylum. But I can look past that because Captain America is looking pretty awesome so far. And any game where I can kick some Nazi ass is at least a 3 in my book. In Captain America: Super Soldier you take on the Red Skull with your classic and totally epic shield. You can deflect enemy bullets right back at them in this 3rd person ass kicking game.
Past the break you can check out the games features, and a nice mix of Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo Ds screen shots. The game will release sometime this summer. READ MORE

While you’re listening why not check out our interviews with audio director Andrew Boyd as well as a chat with the man himself, Jason Graves.
I’m loving this cover art because if you look closely, you can see Isaac’s eyes. Also, the font at the bottom reminds me of Bioshock (always a good thing). READ MORE
Call of Duty: Black Ops hits shelves this Tuesday, the 9th, so get your headset ready and warm up your thumbs, it’s gonna be a battle for the ages. But for those of you who can’t devote yourself 24/7 to your console, you can always enjoy the soundtrack, which is slated to be released on iTunes, as well as major retailers, the same day. Composer Sean Murray (Call of Duty: World At War, Junkyard Dog, Gang of the Dead) brings you 30 digital-only tracks that are sure to make you itch to shoot a couple of n00bs in the face. So I know I’m totally late on this, but I figured I’d post about it anyhow because it looks like it could be incredible. Since the release of Batman Arkham Asylum had incredible success, I think it really opened up a superhero door. Instead of having games like X-Men Legends and those like it, we can have full on incredible games like Batman, but with other superheros such as Captain America, and so on.
The game will be set in the World War 2 era and Captain America like a badass will be fighting against the Hydra Army, Iron Cross and Red Skull. You of course will get to use his totally badass shield as a weapon and for defense. Check out screens past the break, and the game is looking to be released on the Nintendo Ds, Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. No release date is known.
For those old skool Goldeneye fans, this video below will bring back some memories for sure. On top of bringing back old levels, they are introducing some awesome looking new ones as well that you can see in the video.

Back when Goldeneye came out for the Nintendo 64, I played the hell out of it. Nay. I played the fuck out of it. We would sit around for hours and hours playing the split screen multiplayer. We played it and never dreamed we would one day be able to play it over the internet with our friends or others all across the globe. Ah, how naive.
If you don’t already know, Goldeneye 007 will be released for the Nintendo Wii and Ds November 2nd of this year. It will have online multiplayer and 4 player split screen, classic. Also, Daniel Craig will be taking the place of Peirce Brosnan as James Bond. Screens past the break. READ MORE
Activision is going to have a bundle deal for the GoldenEye 007 remake/re-imagining for the Wii that will include a new classic controller pro. But it will be gold. That beautiful looking Zelda gold.
The GoldenEye game will feature Daniel Craig as bond. Though that excites me, nothing gets me more worked up than the fact that we will now be able to play online multiplayer. Past the break for screens and more info. READ MORE
Back in 1981 Atari released ‘Haunted House’ on their 2600 system. And looking back at it, it really looks ridiculous. One of the original ‘horror’ games looking at it you really wonder how anyone could have ever been scared by the game. Atari is sticking to their roots though. As you head back into the Graves Mansion 30 years after your grandfather disappeared without a trace inside the mansion.
This game will be quite a bit more in depth than its predecessor obviously with a 30 year gap in the games. You will again be in search of pieces of the urn in order to defend your families legacy. READ MORE
If you are like me, you are patiently awaiting September. Mostly because of my birthday, but also, because the new Metroid M for the Wii is coming out September 3rd. And it wont be your usual Metroid experience.
