Korn’s New Video Makes Absolutely No Sense

A couple of new music videos have hit the web today that I wanted to share with you. The first is Born To Lose from The Devil Wears Prada. Visually, it’s actually really cool. I dug the tone and atmosphere and the song worked quite well with the imagery.
Korn has announced that they will be releasing a new album, The Path To Totality, on December 6th. They’ll also be hitting the road in November to promote the upcoming release. The album will apparently be completely like the track they released earlier this summer, Get Up (which featured Skrillex), in that Korn has worked with various dubstep and electronic musicians on each track of the album.

The Japanese, lucky people that they are, are going to be getting a deluxe edition of Limp Bizkit‘s Gold Cobra (review here), which will feature extra tracks, including the Mathematics produced Combat Jazz featuring Raekwon. No joke, it’s pretty good stuff. As Some Kind Of Awesome put it, it’s got a very Wu-Tang feel about it. Check it out after the jump and let me know your thoughts! READ MORE
There are a handful of bands that incite such a violent reaction as Limp Bizkit. There’s Nickelback, Insane Clown Posse, U2 and that’s all I can really think of off the top of my head. These bands are generally reviled or mocked endlessly and, for some reason, are wildly successful. Nickelback consistently puts out platinum selling albums, ICP continues to somehow afford the ability to make movies and U2 manages to put out the same sounding album over and over again with great success. As for Limp Bizkit, people mock the ever-living hell out of them and they laugh it off all the way to the bank. So, how does the band fare on Gold Cobra, their latest endeavor? Well, check out after the jump for the answer.

There is less than a week left before Limp Bizkit‘s Gold Cobra hits shelves and the guys want to pump you up by releasing a video for the title track! You can check it out after the jump and keep your eyes peeled for an official BD review!

The release date for Limp Bizkit‘s Gold Cobra is just around the corner. As if a new Limp Bizkit album with the original line-up isn’t building anticipation enough, the guys have released a Soundcloud player that has snippets of every song on the album. Check it out after the jump and enjoy!

So, it was announced at E3 that nu-metal band Korn is going to be writing the theme song for Silent Hill: Downpour. I’m a huge fan of Akira Yamaoka’s work and I’m a strong believer that Daniel Licht (exclusive interview here) can not only do Akira’s work justice, but also leave his own unique musical style in the series. However, Korn doing a theme song??? I’m seriously skeptical about this. And I’m not the only one: turns out fans of the series have put together an online petition (humorously named ‘Kornami’) to stop this theme song from happening. What are your thoughts?
With Limp Bizkit‘s Gold Cobra coming out in just a few weeks (June 28th), the band has announced three different editions of the album that you can choose from. The album will come in several configurations. The standard release will feature 13 new songs while the Deluxe Edition (available digitally only) will feature 16 new songs. Additionally, fans can purchase a physical CD that has 17 original songs exclusively at Best Buy. Check after the jump for the track list of each edition.

Limp Bizkit‘s Gold Cobra is officially slated for a June 28th release date. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m personally really excited to hear it, especially since Wes is on the record. So, to give you a taste of the new material, after the jump is a new track entitled Why Try. Check it out and let us know what you think!

So, Fred Durst hit Twitter again and spilled the beans about the official release date for Limp Bizkit‘s upcoming album ‘Gold Cobra’. Apparently, we can expect it to come out June 7th, though again, I’ll believe it when I see it. Hopefully they got pissed when they recorded the album and it’s fully of songs of the heavy persuasion.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst snuck in via Twitter a tentative release date of June 7th for the new LB album, ‘Gold Cobra’. I’m somewhat skeptical, but if it’s true, then I’m pretty eager to hear the new stuff. Let’s be honest guys, the music of Limp Bizkit is actually pretty sweet. Don’t believe me? Just listen to Boiler, that song kicks ass! Plus, Wes Borland is a huge horror fan, so it’s always cool to support someone in the community.
Remember that ‘Birdemic’ trailer that had some heavy nu-metal/industrial music playing towards the second half? No? Well watch it at the link above to refresh your memory! Anyways, that song was penned by nu-metal band Chamber of Pudd and is entitled, you guessed it, ‘Birdemic (This Is)’. The video definitely has that ‘Birdemic’ quality about it, so if you’re into that kind of thing, this is right up your alley.

Fred Durst recently announced on Twitter that ‘Gold Cobra’, the latest Limp Bizkit record should be finished ready to press by the end of the month. What do you think? Will this record ever see the light of day or do we have another ‘Chinese Democracy’ on our hands?
