It’s time for the weekend and let’s get a little twisted in here! This week’s Twisted Music Video Of The Week is Orgy‘s “Fiction (Dreams In Digital)”, which comes off their 2000 album Vapor Transmission. The video is an eerie sci-fi phantasmagoria and, admittedly, was a huge favorite of mine when it came out. I freakin’ LOVED this song! And now I want to revisit it and share it with you readers in case you missed it. Check it out below! READ MORE

Electro-rock band Orgy has released an official music video for their track “Grime Of The Century”, which you can watch below. The video starts with performance footage of the band before heading into a narrative of a (secretly filthy) woman seducing each member of the band, her disease permeating all around her.

The video also serves to show the new line-up that features sole original member Jay Gordon on vocals, guitarist-keyboardist Carlton Bost, guitarist-keyboardist Ashburn Miller, bassist Nic Speck, and drummer Jamie Miller. READ MORE

Holy Crap! Orgy Is Coming Back?!

Wow, it looks like “death pop” band Orgy is coming back! Talk about a blast from the past. I bought their CD Vapor Transmission the year it came out and had a pretty damn good time with it. However, I remember seeing footage of them on the Family Values tour and they seemed so….wimpy.

But it seems the band has a chance to redeem themselves in my eyes as they will be releasing a new single entitled “Grime Of The Century” digitally on Sept. 4th (Sept. 10th on physical). You can hear a sample of the song below.

The band will also be going on a major tour in November and are gearing up for a “major-market” tour at the end of 2012/early 2013.

Alright readers, who’s excited for this? I’m cautiously optimistic but that might be due in part to the nostalgia factor. READ MORE
