Here we have the first 3-minutes of BBC’s 10-episode sci-fi “Orphan Black,” which stars Canadian thesp Tatiana Maslany!

In “Orphan” Maslany plays a street-wise orphan who witnesses the suicide of a woman whom she learns is her clone. Soon she and other clones realize an assassin is killing them off one by one.

“Orphan Black” is co-created by writer Graeme Manson (Cube, “Flashpoint”) and director John Fawcett (Ginger Snaps, “Spartacus”).

Kevin Hanchard, Michael Mando, Elizabeth Saunders, Maria Doyle Kennedy, and Ron Lea also star. The pilot airs March 30th.

Back on Monday we unveiled a few stills from BBC’s 10-episode sci-fi series “Orphan Black,” which stars Tatiana Maslany in what seems sort of like an “Alias” meets “Dollhouse” meets Never Let Me Go sort of situation. Now we’ve got a look at a new TV Spot that explores more of the plot as well as quick featurette on the series.

[AFM '12] ‘The Pact’ Director Finds A ‘Home,’ ‘Stung,’ And ‘Ginger Snaps’ Director’s ‘Orphan Black’

Celluloid Dreams will kick off sales at the AFM next week on a pair of genre titles from Los Angeles-based XYZ Films, says Screen Daily. Home is Nicholas McCarthy’s follow-up to Sundance 2012 hit The Pact (pictured). “It centres on a young woman who investigates an incident that took place in a house where a previous occupant unwittingly summoned the Devil.” The pic, which is NOT a sequel but a new film, is in pre-production. Sonny Mallhi, who served as executive producer on The Strangers, will produce.

Benni Diez will direct Stung from a screenplay by Adam Aresty about “A garden party that turns sour when a colony of killer wasps mutates into seven-foot tall predators.” They are eyeing a March 2013 start in Europe.

Lastly, THR reports that “The Tudors”‘ Maria Doyle Kennedy has joined the cast of “Orphan Black,” the BBC America and Space sci-fi series from Canadian producer Temple Street Productions. Dylan Bruce and Jordan Gavaris have also been added to the first season shoot of 10 one-hour episodes to debut in 2013. “Orphan Black,” which will star Tatiana Maslany, is shooting on location in Toronto through February 2013. The series, co-created by Graeme Manson and Ginger Snaps director John Fawcett, portrays Sarah (Maslany), an outsider and orphan whose life changes on assuming the identity of a dead stranger who looks just like her. [TV News Bites] Guillermo del Toro Directs “Nutshell Studies,” Clones Die In “Orphan Black,” & Latest “Dexter” Promo!

HBO is going to a dark place with Guillermo del Toro. The Hollywood Reporters writes that the premium cable network has optioned Corinne May Botz’s “Nutshell Studies,” a Hitchcockian drama about a 1950s small-town housewife who becomes obsessed with solving brutal crimes. Del Toro will serve as an executive producer as well as director on the project, with novelist Sara Gran (“Southland”) on board to write and co-executive produce.

In addition, Showtime also shared a second promo teasing the forthcoming premiere of “Dexter” Season 7, premiering Sep. 30. In the video, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) tells Deborah (Jennifer Carpenter), “Nothing has changed, I’m still your brother.” Here’s the recently revealed synopsis for Episode 7.01: “Are You….?” “After witnessing her brother kill Travis Marshall, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) attempts to reconcile with Dexter (Michael C.
