As a serial killer slowly picks off London police officers, a motley crew of cops must track him down before he strikes again.

Maggie

Maggie is a 16-year old girl from a town in middle America who becomes infected by a zombie.” Much the way that Danny Boyle changed the lumbering zombie stereotype by speeding up the undead in 28 Days Later, Maggie changes the lightning quick infection period evident in most zombie films, where victims become zombies in minutes. It will take six months for Maggie to turn, and the film tracks the transformation as she stays with her family.

The World’s End

The film starts 20 years after five childhood friends attempted an epic pub crawl. The friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

Trailer For Edgar Wright’s ‘The World’s End’ Brings On The Booze (And Aliens)

The teaser trailer just hit for The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright’s new movie that stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan. While this definitely feels more like a teaser than a full trailer – it still introduces a host of crazy sh*t like humanoid blue-eyed aliens along with some giant insect looking guys. Getting a strong Stephen King meets John Carpenter vibe from this one. I also dig that the fence gag is back! This film will complete Wright and Pegg’s Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy.

New Images From ‘The World’s End’ Show Simon Pegg Wilding Out

We’ve got a couple of new images from The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead and Hit Fuzz director Edgar Wright’s new movie that stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan.

The images (screen-grabs from a promo clip) sort of reveal Simon Pegg’s character to be the wild ringleader of the group, definitely holding onto “the cigarette end of his teens” as described in the synopsis. I know this is a slight update, but I’m just incredibly excited for this movie. To make it up to you – you can watch about 4 seconds of the movie below (in two small chunks during a minute-long summer presentation reel – your choice).

‘The World’s End’ With A Gang of Drinking Buddies

A new image was released from The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright’s new movie that stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan.

The still depicts the cast strolling around town. I’m expecting this to be a dialogue heavy film (not that I’m complaining).

‘The World’s End’ Will Hit Two Months Sooner! Gather Your Money!

I couldn’t be more excited for The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright’s new movie starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan. From its’ Stephen King-like premise to the cast to the fact that Wright has never let me down. And now, it’s hitting a full two months earlier with a new release date of August 23rd (up from October 25th).

In the film, “20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. Yes, August 23rd is also the same weekend You’re Next comes out. Please save your money and see both films folks, you won’t regret it (at least I doubt you’ll regret it with World’s End – since I haven’t seen it yet).

Have A Drink For ‘The World’s End’

Two new images have surfaced from The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright’s new movie that stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan. What interesting about the stills are that they have a very gritty and dark look, which is unique for a Wright film.
