Hellified
While details are slim-pickings, Hellified is known to be a supernatural action movie involving a journey to hell. The story follows a strike force, comprised of criminals, that goes to Hell in order to stop the End of Days.
Jitters
. The flick will be a creepy family film in the early-’80s Amblin mold (think “Gremlins”).
The Ring 3D
The plot of the original film centered on a young journalist investigating a mysterious videotape that seemed to cause the death of anyone within a week of viewing it. The new film is being fashioned as more teen-centric than the first, and though the logline is being kept under wraps, the aim is to reinvent the franchise. One potential scenario involves teens finding a VHS player that still works. Sounds pretty cool to me.
Wake
Wake is the first of three novels written by McMann about a 17-year-old girl named Janie with the unwanted ability to become sucked into people’s dreams. Not surprisingly, she sees things she would rather not see. But when she gets pulled into a terrible nightmare, Janie dangerously goes from mere witness to participant.
The edgy sequels, “Fade” and “Gone,” detail her investigations with boyfriend Cabel into the perverse activities of teachers at their school and the difficult fate that lies ahead for her.
School of Horrors
School of Horrors is being pitched as “Home Alone in Hogwarts.” The story begins when a schoolboy’s parents go on holiday, abandoning him in a haunted school.
Serial Killer Days
Mark Carter will be adapting David Prill’s 1996 satirical novel that’s set in a town that celebrates the annual arrival of a serial killer with a parade and a pageant.
Boy Scouts vs. Zombies
It’s said to be in the vein of Goonies, and is about a local boy scout troop that must save the local girl scout troop from a zombie outbreak on an overnight camping trip.
The Hauntrepreneur
The story centers on a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man, the Hauntrepreneur, to help it. The man attempts to bring them together by creating a haunted house populated by an odd cast of characters.
Dominion
The story centers on a woman (Saldana) who is half-human, half-angel.
World War Z
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches…their past.

Paramount has never been major for the horror genre, albeit they do carry this decade’s strongest franchise, Paranormal Activity.
This past October the fourth film was a huge failure (in terms of enjoyment), but were optimistic that they’ll square things with fans when Paranormal 5 hits theaters. Let us just hope nothing ends with a link like they did with The Devil Inside…
