New Gameplay From Vampire Game ‘Dark’ Leaves Me Worried

Dark is our chance to get a good vampire game. Though vampires seem to be taking over tv and movies, we haven’t seen much of an influx in the video game world. Which is a shame because if the right company starts putting the effort towards a game the genre could become as big as zombies have. What does make me nervous about Dark is that it looks like it might focus too heavily on stealth. It makes sense because vampires are usually pretty stealthy. However, it could also hurt the game if it becomes repetitive and boring. I’ll let you make that decision. Head past the break to check out the latest game play video and game features.

Any one remember that abortion ‘I Know Who Killed Me‘? Well lets hope Murdered doesn’t get as bad of reviews as I Know Who Killed Me did. Though BD gave it a 4/5? Bungie is combining forces with Activision this time around who as you know are behind the Call Of Duty series. Bungie made the Halo Universe massive, and they aren’t dialing it back one bit for Destiny. They plan to have a huge social aspect to the game. Here’s Some New Footage From The PC Version Of ‘Resident Evil 6′ Coming Next Month

The latest and most polarizing entry in Capcom’s action horror franchise has been available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 since October, but PC fans still won’t get it until next month. In an effort to drum up interest in the upcoming PC version, Capcom has released some new gameplay footage from it that will look awfully familiar to anyone who’s played the game already, with a few exceptions. Of note is our first look at Mercenaries: No Mercy, the PC-exclusive version of the popular Mercenaries mode that throws more enemies at you at once. Seeing that many enemies on-screen at once is total anarchy. If you plan on getting Resident Evil 6 when it releases on PC, the two videos I have for you after the break should help give you an idea of what you’re in for. Or you could read our review.

‘Dead Space 3′ Needed To Be More Action Oriented To Grow

In an interview with Now Gamer Dead Space 1 writer Antony Johnston states that the action in Dead Space 3 is “a necessary evil in order to broaden the fan base.” He goes on to say that was the plan from the start. “I know the developers always wanted to go bigger, in terms of scope. And I’ve mentioned before that the universe we created was huge, with lots of elements, which simply didn’t make it into the first game.” He’s right. People definitely complain about the over the top action in the new Resident Evil, but would have keeping it stuck so small have stunted its growth? I think Visceral Games probably has that fear. But when you create such a big universe in a game series, it’s hard to keep it from growing. Read the full interview/article HERE!

The Second Part In The ‘Tomb Raider’ Survival Guide Cracks Exploration Wide Open

Past Tomb Raider games were somewhat streamlined. There wasn’t much room for extensive exploration apart from the main storyline. In the new Tomb Raider you have a map of the island you’re stuck on and there is a lot more you can explore. In the video past the break ‘Guide To Survival Episode #2′, you will learn all about it. There are a lot more areas to explore, and many you can not progress in unless Lara herself has gotten the right items, weapons, or skills learned to do so. I love this because the Tomb Raider games definitely needed to take a turn in the direction of open exploration. But in case you don’t want to stray too far from your main mission you can easily get right back on track using your map. Check out the video past the break.
