It’s no secret that there were only 3 things good about Alex Aja’s Piranha 3D – the gore, Jessica Szohr and Riley Steele. And thanks to the new age of social networking, we’re getting a whole new look at Steele.
AITH was the first (to my knowledge) to catch wind of Steele’s Twitter account, which is begging for your attention (and may have you standing at attention). Instead of pounding her users with duck-face selfies, she’s turned the camera to the other end…
While an obvious cheap attempt for us to grab some traffic, there’s no denying that I just looked at each and every “butt-selfie” shared by the adult film star. It plays out like a desperate plea for attention…that’s clearly working.

We spend so much talking about movies when they’re in development that is incredibly exciting to actually hear of a start date for them. It will arrive in theaters June 22, 2012. In addition, they state that Dimension Films’ Piranha 3DD goes behind cameras from January 17-February 18 in Baton Rouge. While it was assumed in Piranha 3D that Ving Rhames’ character Deputy Fallon bit the dust, rumors arose today that he may just be returning for the sequel Piranha 3DD- in other words, he may not have become the fish bait we all originally thought. Mark Canton – the Piranha 3D producer who defended the film’s post converted 3D process – and Lucky VIII Films are going long with the football-themed supernatural thriller Play Dead. Newly minted Lucky VIII has acquired Ryan Brown’s debut novel and has tapped novelist-screenwriter Joe Schreiber to adapt for the bigscreen. The story revolves around football player zombies bent on revenge in a gridiron-obsessed Texas town. A pretty cool, unique concept. I wonder how this will play out in a movie? You can watch this short film created to hype the book release. Gotham-based Lucky VIII is financing development and production of “Play Dead,” with lensing scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2011. Canton — no stranger to the zombie genre, having produced the George Romero-helmed Land of the Dead — is also looking to develop a comicbook and vidgame based on the novel. READ MORE
