The press conference is over, and the Playstation 4 Has been officially revealed! Even more crazy is they are planning on releasing the system this holiday season. Silent Hill BOM (Bowel of movements) screens are here straight from this years PAX. I unfortunately don’t see myself making the purchase of a PS Vita anytime soon so I hope this gets ported elsewhere so I can give it a slam dunk into the garbage can. If you read our PREMATURE EVALUATION of Silent Hill: Book Of Memories then you may already know I think this game is going to be pretty terrible. Though I must say after seeing some of these screen shots, the ones you can see past the break, I have a little more faith in the game. Not much, but a little. I mean it looks like the gore is there, the fucked up monsters, amazing looking locales, but is it enough to make this a good game? Or should it be stripped of all Silent Hill branding?

Revealed earlier this year, the successor to Sony’s popular handheld got quite a bit of buzz for the long list of features that we wanted (dual analog sticks) and ones we didn’t know we wanted until we saw them in action (rear screen touch pad). Introduced to the world with the temporary “NGP” (Next Generation Portable) moniker, starting today you can call it by it’s real name, the PS Vita.
