The slasher is being pegged as The Strangers on a college campus. AFM: With the rest of the campus home for the Thanksgiving holiday, Justine and a few of her friends spend the weekend in their college dormitory: studying, relaxing and blissfully unaware of the terror that is about to unfold outside in the cold. Suddenly, confronted by a gang of violent outcasts, Justine’s quiet long weekend becomes one long lesson in survival as her and her classmates are terrorized in increasingly bizarre and brutal ways, leaving it up to her to figure out who her attackers are…and if they can be stopped.
Alternate: Described as a Rosemary’s Baby type thriller, the story follows a girl who is alone on campus over the Thanksgiving break when a random encounter with a gang of violent outcasts leads them to target her as their next victim. To survive, she must conquer her deepest fears to outwit them and fight back.
The Weinstein Co.’s recently renamed Random (previously Kristy, then previously Satanic) has unveiled to EW the first pic of Ashley Greene ( Twilight, The Apparition) in the production. I’m sort of confused, this movie is supposed to be a “psychological thriller” but all I can do is laugh.
Oliver Blackburn (Donkey Punch) directed the film from Anthony Jaswinski penning the script. The film is currently shooting in New Orleans and also stars Haley Bennett and Lucas Till. Apparently, Greene is the leader of the gang. Thankfully, the piercings are fake.

Okay, I’m definitely a bit late to this party but I just recently started getting hooked into scrolling through Imgur. It’s a fun way to kill about 15-20 minutes and unwind at the end of the day. Also, sometimes I stumble across an image that is just too good to not share with you, my lovely readers.
The image that I found is a comic that shows a butterfly land upon the finger of a man, whereupon the man asks the butterfly what he wanted. Well, I’m not going to tell you what the butterfly says (although I’m going to guess you’ve got a good idea from the article headline). But what really gets me is the very last image in this comic. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that exact same face and motion. Once you see it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Check it out below and forever look at butterflies with greater respect and admiration. Now excuse me while I go play some Iron Butterfly. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida honey, don’t you know that I’m loving you… READ MORE
Slow news days suck. They mean I don’t get to write quite as much as I’d like to and you don’t get a sufficient dose of gaming awesome that only Bloody Disgusting can provide. That’s why I’ve decided to remedy days like these with a swift kick to the face in a brand new series called Boredom Bytes. Whenever you see one of these you’ll know you’re about to be entertained, because hidden inside each of these will be a gooey center consisting of funny/weird/random videos and miscellaneous other byte-sized bites of gaming-related awesome. Head past the break for our first batch of funny, including an insanely catchy Halo song, some funky dancing in Skyrim, and a look at how badly it sucks to be a video game bad guy.

E3 is over and the world is quiet again. I hope you enjoyed last week, really soaked it up, because with the exception of Lollipop Chainsaw (out today!), the next couple months are going to be dreadfully uneventful. I’ve always wondered what a Pac-Man film would look like and with retro games like Asteroids getting a film and even board games like Battleship, I knew there was a very good chance I’d eventually find out. Thankfully, the wait is over, and the result is more glorious than I could’ve ever dreamed of. Check it out after the break.
