Chiller has released the the first TV Spot for Remains, the Colin Theys-directed adaptation of a Steve Niles graphic novel that stars Grant Bowler, Lance Reddick, Miko Hughes and Tawny Cypress. While the trailer was already quite impressive, this spot is more of the same carrying a small variety of new shots.

Premiering this fall is the John Doolan-penned adaptation of Steve Niles’ Remains, which was originally a five-issue comic series IDW put out back in 2004 (I think I have the trade paperback floating around here somewhere…).
The flick, which will air on Chiller, was directed by Colin Theys and tells the story of a blackjack dealer and exotic dancer who survive a nuclear accident that turns everyone else into zombies.
I can’t remember much about it aside from the basic premise, but one would have to assume they’re not the last people on earth considering Kieron Dwyer’s Comic-Con poster features more than a few hard-boiled characters on it. Back before Steve Niles (“30 DAYS OF NIGHT”, “CRIMINAL MACABRE”) was a household name (This was back in 2004 kiddos) for anyone who reads comic books, the scribe was writing a little zombie epic by the name of “REMAINS”. The series has long since been out of print, but this August IDW will be resurrecting the story for an all new collected edition. The story will clock in at 116 pages of undead fun, and below you can brush up on the details.
