[Album Review] Deftones ‘Koi No Yokan’

Deftones may very well be one of the most consistent and dependable bands of the past 20 years. Each new release sees the band further their musical scope while still retaining that immediately identifiable sound. I personally got hooked into the band with White Pony, specifically the songs “Passenger” and “Digital Bath” (god, I love that song). Since then, I’ve been an excited fan, always eager to hear new material. And now, on Tuesday, their latest effort, Koi No Yokan, the follow up to 2010’s Diamond Eyes will come out. Mastodon Release Live Video For “All The Heavy Lifting”

Mastodon have released a live video for “All The Heavy Lifting” from their Feb. 11th performance at London’s Brixton Academy. The song comes from their latest album The Hunter, which was released Sept. 27th, 2011. The band is currently touring throughout Europe. All tour dates can be found here.

Green Day Recording Not One, Not Two, But THREE New Albums

Pop punk rock band Green Day is currently in the studio recording three new albums for a staggered release starting this September. The albums, entitled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!, will be released via Reprise Records Sept. 25th, 2012, Nov. 13th, 2012, and Jan. 15th, respectively. Mastodon Releases New Song ‘Spectrelight’
