Though it may be cliche’ to say, “well oh gee, I never though 2008 would be as good as 2007 for horror games” bla bla bla, well it was. Yes last year BioShock demolished the competition, but with the amount of epically amazing games this year, I think the race will be a little less 1 sided.
Last year there was a little “confusion” on what a “horror” game entails. Well, the games on this list are that that would reflect anything horror, sci-fi, bloody and or disgusting, gorey, thrillerish, creepy, aliens, ghosts, zombies, vampires, plain old really weird stuff, stuff that is outside of “normal”, there are no Marios in this list, no Call Of Dutys, these are the games people cringe at. The games some people are too scared to play. The games parents don’t want their kids playing. The games that we love here on BD.
Head past the break to see the games in the running! READ MORE
So rumor has it that the third episode of Playstation Network video series Qore will have a code, or a key so you can join in on the Resistance 2 online public beta test starting in late September. The game will be coming out November 15th this year on the Playstation 3 only.
Here’s the deal. We are running a public beta, and you will have many ways to get in. The best way which will give you the earliest access to the beta will involve a pre-order program that should be announced soon, (for those of you who don’t know what pre-ordering is, you essentially reserve your copy with five dollars down, and that five dollars will go towards the price of the game when it releases).
For all of you folks outside of North America [that] are up in arms because Qore is NA only, please don’t worry. This is one of many ways to get in, and we plan to make the beta available in all territories, as we need to test all servers and worldwide play.
Resistance 2, which is coming out for the PS3, November 15th, seems to be coming together very well. You can check out these videos, it’s looking awesome. A lot more colorful than the 1st game, and it seems to take place in Chicago, which is awesome. 1. Because I live a little bit north of Chicago. 2. I’m SO sick of every single game taking place in New York, I’ve never even been to New York, and I don’t want to go, because so many movies and games taker place there. It’s refreshing to see something in Chicago. Anyways I’m done ranting, go ahead and check these out. READ MORE
Resistance 2 is starting to surface, and this is all that we get. Always with the teasing. What really makes me mad is when they show movie trailers when you’re at the theater for a movie that comes out almost a year later if not longer. READ MORE
