Vamps

Vamps tells the modern day tale of two young beautiful female vampires living the good nightlife in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality.

Official: As upstanding, politically correct Extended Life Forms (ELFs), the pair fit twelve-step “Sanguines Anonymous” meetings to help curb the temptation of human blood in between their clubbing and dating schedules. When love steals into each of their lives, the pair’s destiny is set on a new course and they must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality—and maybe much more.

This ‘Vamps’ Poster Might Not Be Your Thing But…

Anchor Bay Films is releasing Vamps, on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, November 13th with a limited theatrical release on November 2nd. The film is from Clueless director Amy Heckerling and stars Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) and Krysten Ritter (“Breaking Bad”).

While this film is steadily shedding its horror credentials in order to reveal itself to be a flat-out romantic comedy, that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a bad movie. It just might not be for us is all. Regardless, I’m always curious to see what Heckerling comes up with next. She more than earned the benefit of the doubt with Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
