The masters of sleaze rock, Steel Panther will be breeding their way across N. American this Spring on the ‘Spreading The Disease (S.T.D.)’ tour. The band will begin their tour in Orlando, FL and finish at the Rock On The Range festival in Columbus, OH with a quick jet over to Japan to play Ozzfest. Below is the band’s full touring schedule along with the NSFW video for “Death To All But Metal”. READ MORE
Filthy Empire, the debut album from UK rockers Heaven’s Basement, has only just come out but it’s already making waves and causing a stir. In my own review, I heralded the band as the Guns N’ Roses of the 21st century and that’s a claim that I’m not going to back down from any time soon. It’s not fair to say that they have an element of danger about them. Instead, it’s more appropriate to say that this band is like an action movie exploding left and right without a single care as to what is in its path.
To celebrate the release of Filthy Empire, we landed an exclusive interview and drummer Chris Rivers where we chat the new album, future plans, and what it means to be signed to Red Bull Records. Check out the interview and their latest video for “I Am Electric” below. READ MORE
Danzig has announced the ‘Deth Red Sabaoth’ tour, with DevilDriver and 2Cents appearing on the bill. You can check out the tour dates after the jump. Since I plan on being at Rock On The Range, I’ll definitely be checking out his show, but it sucks that I don’t get to see DevilDriver there. Ah well, c’est la vie. Who’s gonna be checking out this tour?
We just reported about the upcoming Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, which looks to have an awesome line-up no matter which date you attend. Well, for those of you lucky enough to be close to Columbus, Ohio, you’ve got one hell of a two-day festival in store. This year’s Rock on the Range will have some of the biggest names in today’s rock scene headlining including A Perfect Circle (easily my most anticipated show), Alter Bridge, Stone Sour, Korn, Disturbed, Staind, and so many more.
So, a couple months back, Bloody-Disgusting hosted a few exclusive interviews that were conducted at the 2010 Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio (you can check them out HERE). One of the highlights that I got to see was Rob Zombie getting the crowd completely riled up as he announced that he was going to be recording his performance of ‘Mars Needs Women’ for an official video. Well, that video has been put together and is now officially out (thanks to AOL Noisecreep)! Check it out below and let us know what you thought of it!
For the 3rd installment of Bloody-Disgusting at Rock on the Range, I’m posting a video interview with ST1TCH (sampler, turntables, electronics, etc…) of Mushroomhead. Apart from bonding over our love of Silent Hill (Check out that badass tattoo! He tells me it’s not finished, but even still, it’s awesome), we spoke about touring, the new album, frustrations over the music industry and the influence of horror on ST1TCH and Mushroomhead. Check out the video after the jump!
While at Rock on the Range I got the chance to sit for a few minutes with Paul Phillips, guitarist of the multi-platinum, Grammy winning band Puddle of Mudd. We spoke briefly about tour plans, the reception on the new album ‘Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love And Hate’, and, of course, some of Paul’s favorite horror movies. Enjoy the video after the break and make sure to grab your tickets for the Carnival of Madness tour to check out Puddle of Mudd with Shinedown, Chevelle, 10 Years and Sevendust later this summer!
