Rosemary’s Baby is a beautiful masterpiece. Based on the novel by Ira Levin, Roman Polanski’s 1968 film follows the story of Rosemary Woodhouse, a young pregnant woman. From conception to birth, Rosemary’s world is overshadowed with the suspicion that her pregnancy may be the result of a pact her husband has made with their eccentric neighbors to use the child for human sacrifice in an occult ritual.

Ultimate Halloween Present! ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ Hits Blu-ray On October 30th!

If there’s one company you want in charge of the reissue of a classic film like Rosemary’s Baby, it’s Criterion. Their transfers are stunning and their attention to detail regarding supplemental features is rarely matched. So it’s great news for Polanksi and horror films alike that they’re bringing that film to DVD and Blu-ray on October 30th – just in time for Halloween.

In the film, “A young couple move into a new apartment, only to be surrounded by peculiar neighbors and occurrences. When the wife becomes mysteriously pregnant, paranoia over the safety of her unborn child begins controlling her life.

Rosemary’s Baby
