Megadeth Releases ‘Rust In Peace Live’ Blu-Ray/DVD/CD

Megadeth’s Rust In Peace Live Blu-ray, DVD and CD (Shout! Factory), captured on the final night of Megadeth’s historic Rust In Peace 20th anniversary tour at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, is available in stores now. 
 
Fans can get a taste of what the Rust In Peace Live releases have to offer by watching a clip of the Megadeth classic “Hangar 18” below.
Rust In Peace Live marks the return of original bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth 1983-2002) to the iconic multi-platinum group after eight years.  Ellefson (bass) joins Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar).  The Blu-ray, DVD and CD feature the entire Rust In Peace track listing, including all-time classics “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” and “Hangar 18” along with bonus fan favorites from the rest of Megadeth’s catalog, including “Symphony Of Destruction,” “Peace Sells” and “Skin O’ My Teeth.”

Factory) HERE.  AOL Noisecreep has posted an exclusive video clip of “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” captured on the final night of Megadeth’s historic Rust In Peace 20th anniversary tour at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, not far from where Dave Mustaine formed the band in 1983.
 
Rust In Peace Live marks the return of original bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth 1983-2002) to the iconic multi-platinum group after eight years.  Ellefson (bass) joins Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar).  The Blu-ray, DVD and CD feature the entire Rust In Peace track listing, including all-time classics “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” and “Hangar 18” along with bonus fan favorites from the rest of Megadeth’s catalog, including “Symphony For Destruction,” “Peace Sells” and “Skin O’ My Teeth.”

Factory.  On March 31, 2010, at this incredibly special show at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, not far from where Dave Mustaine formed the band in 1983, Megadeth played their landmark, genre-defining 1990 Rust In Peace album in its entirety, in addition to other Megadeth favorites.  Rust In Peace Live also marks the return of original bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth 1983-2002) to the iconic multi-platinum group after eight years.  Ellefson (bass), joins Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar).

Slayer and Megadeth talk American Carnage Tour!

Megadeth and Slayer, who last toured the U.S. together nineteen years ago on the  ”Clash of the Titans” extravaganza, have confirmed that they will each perform, start to finish, their 1990 releases – Slayer’s world-wide, million-selling Seasons In The Abyss and Megadeth’s Platinum Rust In Peace – on the upcoming Canadian and American Carnage Tours.  The six-date Canadian Carnage kicks off July 23 in Quebec City, while the 19-city American Carnage dates begin August 11 in Glens Falls, NY (complete itinerary is below).  With Slayer and Megadeth co-headlining, Testament will be Special Guest on all dates.
