The script chronicles the epic origin of Dracula, weaving vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad the Impaler. It depicts Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war, repositioning him more as a vengeful hero than the monster seen in Bram Stoker’s classic novel.
The story focuses on the true story of a pair of police officers who undertook to solve two decades of disappearances and homicides — totaling as many as 60 victims — in the industrial wastelands surrounding Gulf Coast refineries.

While domestic assets have yet to be released, inside you’ll find an Italian language trailer featuring your first ever footage. Hopefully this pushes Bay to release a trailer.

A movie that kind of fled off our radar is Ami Canaan Mann’s The Fields, formerly known as The Texas Killing Fields. Produced by Michael Mann, an early piece of poster art somehow leaked online and features star Sam Worthington charging through a field. It’s pretty lame.
