Late Review: ‘Abe Sapien: Dark and Terrible’ #3

There is only one word in the English language that can properly relay the masterpiece that is Abe Sapien: Dark and Terrible #3: WOW. This third installment of Abe Sapien’s own ongoing is everything I want in a book and more. Scott Allie has been doing a wonderful job tailoring Abe’s own unique story but the hat has to be tipped to artist Sebastián Fiumara and the ever impressive colourist Dave Stewart. Mayhem, action and most importantly plot twists make this story one of the best I have had the luxury of reviewing this year. READ MORE

Review: ‘Abe Sapien: Dark and Terrible’ #2

The new ongoing series Abe Sapien: Dark and Terrible continues this week with an issue that really begins to delve into the origin of Abe, and perhaps his destiny, in the massive event occurring in B.P.R.D. Abe’s presence has been missed, and unlike the previous issue, we really get some good ol’ Abe action this time around. Scott Allie has really taken the reins from Migonal when it comes to the “Hell on Earth” event and he is doing a fantastic job of creating a thrilling story. On the other hand, Sebastián Fiumara has not been a staple in the B.P.R.D. world, but he is really making a name for himself here. READ MORE

Abe Sapien Returns In ‘The Dark and Terrible’ From Mignola And Allie

Abe Sapien wasn’t around the B.P.R.D. in 2012, being in a coma and all. But all that looks to change in 2013. Scott Allie and Mike Mignola bring back the ever-loveable Abe Sapien in a new series titled The Dark and Terrible. The series is co-written by Mike Mignola and Allie and illustrated by Sebastian Fiumara.

The book is set to hit shops on April 3rd, 2013. The new series will follow Abe as he ventures across America in an attempt to escape the B.P.R.D. READ MORE
