The 5 ‘Psycho’ Films From Worst To Best!!!

The season finale of A&E’s “Bates Motel” airs tonight, so I figured I’d take a look back at the film that spawned it, Psycho, and the modest film franchise that followed.

Most of these movies were holding up fairly well in my memory except for Psycho 2 and Psycho 3, so I re-watched those over the weekend and was actually fairly surprised by how much I enjoyed them. When you think about it, the Psycho universe certainly has more solid installments than something like the Howling franchise, which is kind of neat. It’s just a bummer that the mythology of Norman Bates and the Bates Motel doesn’t really lend itself to much scrutiny (the minimal use of this stuff is part of what makes the original film so brilliant).

[TV] Next On “The Walking Dead”, Does This Taiwanese Promo Have Massive Spoilers For The Midseason Finale?!

I seriously need to keep up with AMC’s The Walking Dead. I haven’t seen any of this season yet – so I can’t even tell what the potential spoiler here is (I also don’t remember Season 1 all that well, which could be a factor).

Next Sunday, December 2nd AMC airs episode 03.08 “Made To Suffer.”, the midseason finale that this teaser is pimping. In the episode, Andrea steps up when the people of Woodbury are thrown into uncharted territory; a new threat arises at the prison.

In the highly anticipated new season, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead. The struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 3 also introduces new characters, including the Governor (David Morrissey) and fan-favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira), along with her zombie pets.

TV: Looking Ahead To Season 3, Michael Rooker Returning To “The Walking Dead”

RookerDead31712 TV: Looking Ahead To Season 3, Michael Rooker Returning To The Walking Dead

Tonight is the last new episode of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” that you’re going to see for quite some time. But if you’re looking for tidbits to keep you satiated in those lean months unto the premiere of Season 3, here’s one. Michael Rooker (Slither, Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer) will be reprising his role as Merle. During a “Lollipop Chainsaw” panel at Wondercon yesterday the actor revealed he’d lost 20 pounds for the role – which is something you’re not like to do for a cameo so this indicates he’ll be in at least a few episodes.

“The Walking Dead” tells the story of the weeks and months that follow a pandemic zombie apocalypse. County Sheriff Rick Grimes travels with his family and a small group of survivors, constantly in search of a safe and secure home. But the constant pressure of fighting off death on a daily basis takes a heavy toll, sending many to the lowest depths of human cruelty. As Rick struggles to keep his family alive, he will discover that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be far more dangerous than the mindless walkers roaming the earth.

The season finale, “Beside The Dying Fire” airs tonight. What do you think is going to happen? What do you want to happen? Head inside for a preview. READ MORE
