Godsmack drummer and horror expert Shannon Larkin is back with another Bloody-Disgusting Selects review! This time he tackles the zombie period-flick Exit Humanity, which is now available on VOD, DVD, and iTunes. You can read his in-depth, kinda spoiler-ish review below.

Starring horror icons Bill Moseley (Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses), Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo), Stephen McHattie (Pontypool, The Watchmen, 300), and new horror hero Mark Gibson, Exit Humanity is a zombie saga that tells the tale of the ultimate battle of good vs. evil. Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin is back with yet another awesome horror movie review! This time, he’s tackling BD Selects‘ film The Woman, which hits limited theaters today. Having met and chatted horror with Shannon, I know for a fact that this man’s goal with these reviews is to share his honest opinion, not skewing it or swaying it for anyone or anything. So, keep that in mind when checking out his review, conveniently located after the jump (how about that!).

Directed by Lucky McKee and based on a novel he co-wrote with Jack Ketchum, The Woman follows the story of a man who will stop at nothing to protect his family from a feral woman living in the nearby woods.

Today brings the last interview from the 2011 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival stop in Clarkston, MI: Shannon Larkin of Godsmack! Since he and I already did a phone interview earlier this year where we discussed the future of Godsmack and his love of horror, this interview focused on the Mayhem festival, which Shannon called the best tour of his career!

Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin has written up another awesome movie review. This time, he tackles Bloody-Disgusting Selects Atrocious, which will be in theaters August 17th – 26th. The Spanish found footage horror film details the last five days of Cristian Quintanilla and his siblings and the unnatural circumstances they encountered.

Godsmack just finished co-headlining the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival and has several more tour dates lined up for the rest of summer and the beginning of fall.
