Rock band Shinedown has announced several US headlining tour dates for this spring with support coming from Bush and Airbourne. The band also has tour dates with Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, and P.O.D., all of which can be seen below.
Fans of hard rock band Three Days Grace were shocked yesterday when the band announced that singer Adam Gontier had quit the band due to medical reasons. The band also announced that My Darkest Days singer Matt Walst had joined on as singer for their upcoming tour with Shinedown.
Now, singer Adam Gontier has released a statement with his explanation for leaving the band. You can read the full explanation below. READ MORE
Adam Gontier has officially left hard rock band Three Days Grace due to an unspecified medical emergency. My Darkest Days singer Matt Walst has already been announced as lead vocalist for the band’s N. American tour with Shinedown.
TDG bassist Brad Walst, who is the older brother of Matt, states, “We were surprised and distressed by Adam’s sudden departure. We are however very excited for this upcoming tour, and to have my brother Matt stepping in as lead singer.”

Bloody-Disgusting is thrilled to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for Candlelight Red‘s song “Demons”, which comes off their latest EP Demons (iTunes). The video shows the band rocking out amidst fiery explosions and burst of debris interspersed with footage of a woman vomiting blood in heat signature filter (she looks mighty cold). Although I don’t think this video is NSFW, keep in mind that the woman, at points in the video, is covering her bare breasts with her hands. Just thought I should give a fair warning! Check out the video below!
As you very well know, we here at Bloody-Disgusting are thrilled and proud to have brought you V/H/S (out now via VOD), an anthology horror flick helmed by several directors, including Ti West, Adam Wingard, Radio Silence, Joe Swanberg, and more. And now, Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin has lent his review to the film! You can read his thoughts on the movie below. Remember to leave your review of the film at the above link!
Papa Roach have cancelled all remaining tour dates on the Rockstar Uproar festival due to singer Jacoby Shaddix being diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal chord. Doctors have advised Shaddix that he needs to undergo corrective surgery to remove the nodule to prevent further damage.
Shaddix explains, “It’s no secret that I’ve been having issues with my voice lately. I was hoping to be able to go out there and kill it on this tour by resting and doing vocal exercises, but my voice has just gone out on me. I hate to let our fans down, but unfortunately surgery is the only way to fix it. The last thing we want to do is give our fans less than 100% every night. We know they’ll understand and we’ll be back better than ever.”
Starting Aug. 24th, the main stage acts of Godsmack, Staind, Shinedown, and Adelitas Way will have extended sets. READ MORE

There are some obvious picks in the list, to be sure, but there a couple in there that surprised me as well. It’s a very fun list and you can check it out below. Make sure to leave your favorite movie demon in the comments!

Ex-Shinedown lead guitarist Nick Perri is so devoted to the rock n roll lifestyle that he has put together what might become the one-stop store for every LA-based musician. Here is a run down of everything the store offers: it’s a guitar shop, barber, tattoo parlor, motorcycle parts, and clothing store. WHEW! I would hate to see the training manual for this place, that’s all I’m saying.
Iconic rocker Sebastian Bach will be releasing a new solo album on September 27th titled Kicking And Screaming. Bach claims, ”I could not be happier with my new album. The songs, performances and sound quality are beyond what I could have ever imagined. This is my best record yet and I can’t wait for all of you to crank it!”
