Toronto native Andrew Coutts, editor for Saw VI and Saw 3D: The Final Chapter, brought his editorial expertise to writer-director Tedi Sarafian‘s 2012 horror film, Sighting, which finished picture editing last month and is now in audio post production and seeking distribution.
The film stars Kristina Anapau (Black Swan, “True Blood”), pictured above, Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason), Alexis Cruz (Drag Me to Hell) and Ed Corbin (True Grit).
“It’s about a ghost-hunting team that investigates King’s Ransom Winery in California, home to a sinister history of recurring suicides.”
Coutts edited Douglas Aarniokoski’s The Day and Nurse 3D as well as the upcoming grizzly bear thriller Red Machine.
Shooting under all of our noses is a new found footage horror film starring Kristina Anapau (Cursed, Black Swan), Michelle Rodriguez (Battle Los Angeles, Machete, Resident Evil), David Weidoff, Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs Jason, Rampage) and Sarah Oh.
Sighting, from writer-director Tedi Sarafian, takes us to “King’s Ransom Winery, one of the most haunted places in America, with a long history of bazaar suicides. Six ghost hunters have been given the rare opportunity to conduct a paranormal investigation. What they discover terrifies them.”
There are no other details on the film, but it’s said to be cinema verite.
