Though it may be cliche’ to say, “well oh gee, I never though 2008 would be as good as 2007 for horror games” bla bla bla, well it was. Yes last year BioShock demolished the competition, but with the amount of epically amazing games this year, I think the race will be a little less 1 sided.
Last year there was a little “confusion” on what a “horror” game entails. Well, the games on this list are that that would reflect anything horror, sci-fi, bloody and or disgusting, gorey, thrillerish, creepy, aliens, ghosts, zombies, vampires, plain old really weird stuff, stuff that is outside of “normal”, there are no Marios in this list, no Call Of Dutys, these are the games people cringe at. The games some people are too scared to play. The games parents don’t want their kids playing. The games that we love here on BD.

If you live in Europe, this fall you’re going to be able to pick up Siren Blood Curse on Blu-Ray disc. All 12 episodes. Which will be nice for those people who don’t want to store the game on their hard drive, especially since it’s just under 10gigs.
Hopefully the game finds it’s way over to the United States sometime after Europe gets it. The price is 19.99 in GBP, which is about $30 USD. The game is available right now on the Playstation Network, you can get it all together READ MORE
So downloadable right now on the Playstation Network is the Siren: Blood Curse demo. The game will be coming out and downloadable in 12 episodes, whatever that means. Any who I downloaded the demo a little bit ago, it’s quite short, less than 10 minutes.
Siren: Blood Curse is going to be downloadable in 12 episodes on the Playstation Network, supposedly on July 24th. Some American t.v. crew goes to investigate the Japanese village of Hanuda, to do a report on the “vanished village”. But arrive just to find out that everything is amiss. The game looks real creepy, I can’t wait to buy it and to get a girl scout thin mint cookie blizzard from Dairy Queen, damn late night commercials. READ MORE
Siren: Blood Curse will be coming out for the Playstation Network July 15th of this year. Whats the Playstation Network? Well it’s basically where you go to check out trailers, demos, downloadable games etc on your Playstation 3. Like the Xbox Live Marketplace. The game takes place in a Cursed Japansese Village, that supposedly dissapeared 30 years ago. But it has apparently reappeared. Well an American camera crew hears about it and goes to get the scoop. Thats when things start going wrong. Check out a creepy video, with an interview from Tsubasa Inaba the games producer. READ MORE
