Six Feet Under Announce New Album ‘Unborn’: Release Lyric Video For “Zombie Blood Curse”

Death metal band Six Feet Under has announced that they will be releasing their new album Unborn on Mar. 19th via Metal Blade Records. To celebrate this announcement, the band has released a lyric video for their newest single “Zombie Blood Curse”, which you can watch below. You can also pre-order the album here.

Vocalist Chris Barnes states, “The journey to create, write, and record Undead and Unborn has been the most challenging and exciting musical endeavor and process I have ever been involved with. Working with all these amazing writers and musicians like Ben Savage (Whitechapel) on songs like Neuro Osmosis and Fragment are some of the most dynamic, beautiful, and brutal songs I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting lyrics to. I believe Ben is a true innovator of the death metal genre. It was also a lot of fun working Jari Laine from Torture Killer again. We wrote a great album together a few years back called SWARM! –one of my favorite releases I’ve been involved with– and Jari is someone who I have really wanted to work with again ever since. I wanted to revisit collaborating with Jari because of how well we work together; proof of that on Unborn are the hook heavy sounds of songs like Zombie Blood Curse and Incision.READ MORE

[Exclusive] Cattle Decapitation Release What Might Just Be The Most NSFW Music Video Ever

Okay, I’ve seen some bizarre, twisted, and downright fucked up music videos in my time. But there wasn’t really anything that could’ve prepared me for Cattle Decapitation‘s “Forced Gender Reassignment”. Let me put it like this: when a video is too intense for YouTube, it gets on Vimeo. That site will let almost anything slide. Nope. Vimeo flat out rejected it, wanting nothing to do with it. But we at Bloody-Disgusting are never ones to shy away from bringing you the most vile visual material out there. So we gladly accepted the opportunity to not only premiere this video for you all, but also to be the only site on the internet with the balls to host it.

So, if you’ve got the guts (and the stomach), you can watch this INCREDIBLY NSFW video below. But don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Also, do us a favor and record your reaction of the video and post the video link in the comments below!

“Forced Gender Reassignment” comes from Cattle Decapitation’s latest album Monolith Of Inhumanity (iTunes). The band also has a ton of tour dates coming up. You can see the schedule for all the shows below. READ MORE

TV: Awww! Watch Alan Ball Say Goodbye To “True Blood”!!

HBO just aired the last episode of “True Blood”‘s Fifth Season, “Save Yourself”, last night. Not only did it mark the last episode of the season, it marked creator Alan Ball’s last episode as the series’ showrunner. Now we have a video (which apparently aired before last night’s episode) of his goodbye to the show.

Listen, I’ve been fairly vocal about the fact that I’m not a huge “True Blood” fan. I was okay with parts of the first season along with parts of the second. I liked what I saw of this season (I think I saw 4 episodes this year) more than whatever was happening with the show last year but ultimately couldn’t bring myself to like it as much as some of you guys do. It’s just not my thing.

That being said – respect. Ball really did create something special here. As much as it’s just not for me – it resonates with a huge amount of people and there’s something to be said for that. It’s a tricky thing to pull off for one year, let alone five. And Ball’s prior show, Six Feet Under, is one of my all time favorite programs – so I know I’ll at least be tuning in to check out whatever he does next. I’m legitimately excited to see what he comes up with next.

Godspeed, Alan Ball. At least you gave me Jessica. Head inside for the video. READ MORE
