2Cellos, the guys responsible for that awesome cover of Michael Jackson‘s “Smooth Criminal”, have released an official video for the cover of Muse‘s “Supermassive Black Hole”, which you can check out below. The video features Naya Rivera, who is probably best known from the TV show Glee.
Stjepan Hauser comments, “We love Naya’s sexy voice – it’s perfect for this song! We recreated Muse’s amazing guitar riff on the cello and by using different sound effects, we gave this traditionally classical instrument a more contemporary, rock sound.”
Luka Sulic adds, “We became friends with Naya last year on the set of Glee and this is a perfect follow up to our appearance on the Michael Jackson tribute episode.” READ MORE
On a quest to destroy all horsehair bows, 2Cellos has put out another badass video of them covering Guns N Roses‘ Welcome To The Jungle. I’ve gotta give thanks to Kevin Riepl for turning me on to this video, which is just far too badass to not post. Below is their cover of Michael Jackson‘s Smooth Criminal, so check after the jump for all the Welcome To The Jungle glory!
Let’s start this week with a pretty badass video, shall we? The way they play off of each other is really incredible and you can tell that they just had crazy amounts of fun doing this.
