Manson Girls

The pic follows a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson’s spell. She was not one the “Family” members involved in the clan’s infamous murder spree, but Pitman was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.

Manson Girls Finally Swayed Into Production

A movie we’ve been covering exclusively on Bloody for almost a year now has finally gone behind cameras.

Manson Girls, focusing on the female followers of cult leader Charles Manson, has quietly started production nearly a year after the project was announced.

Susanna Lo is producing via her Slomotion Studios and directing from her own script, with Taryn Manning (pictured), Tania Raymonde, Monica Keena, Stella Maeve, Estella Warren, Chad Faust, Ron Jeremy, Eric Balfour, and Bill Moseley all starring, as previously reported in various stories here on Bloody.

Manson Girls focuses on the period leading up to the 1969 murders of nine people. Manson and three followers were convicted in 1971 in the slayings. Lo told Variety that she’s aiming to illustrate how and why the girls came under Manson’s command.

The girls were all very talented but it was a very seductive time,” she said. “We really don’t want to sensationalize the story any further than it already has been. I’ve always been fascinated by how the girls came under the spell of this strange, manipulative man.
