Today sees the digital release of Canadian horror punk band The Brains‘s new album The Monster Within and we’re giving you a chance to hear the whole thing! Head on below to give it a listen!

The Brains concoct an irresistible brew of Motorhead-esque ferocity and sexed up Latin swagger while adding a pinch of new-wave and a whole lot of booze-fueled punk rock mayhem.

Look at this awesome week so far! We’ve had a song stream from Attack Attack! and one from Bury Your Dead. Well, if you think we’re going to stop there, you’ve got another thing coming! Today we’re bringing you Man Of Stone from the badass Detroit metal band Battlecross who were recently signed to Metal Blade Records. I had the pleasure to chill with guitarist Hiran at a house party of one of the Black Dahlia Murder guys and he was metal to the f*cking core! Let’s just say I have no worries about these guys blowing up. Their Metal Blade Records debut album Pursuit of Honor will be coming out August 2nd, so make sure to pre-order your copy.

Glen Danzig commented “I think that fans will really dig this new album, I’ve been told several times that the album has a cool vitality to it, that it sounds energized, and I got that feeling when I was recording it. I wanted to have an organic sound, bigger and thicker, so I went out and bought some 1970′s Kustom tuck ‘n roll bass amps to play some of the guitar parts through. You’ll hear real reverb, real tremolo on this album, which sounds completely different than the stuff that’s done with computer chips.”

There are definitely a few stand out tracks that will appeal to classic Danzig fans including Juju Bone, Rebel Spirits, and Night Star Hell. Overall, me = not disappointed.
