On what might be one of the heaviest tours currently on the road, Revocation is helping melt faces every night on the 18 Nights Of Blood tour, which also features Six Feet Under and Dying Fetus (John Gallagher interview here). But for readers who are unaware of what life is like on the road, drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne has written up an exclusive blog for Bloody Disgusting. I’m neither a cat nor dog person. Sure, I’d be happy with a german shepherd puppy but I’m really much more of a lizard kinda guy. Gimme a bearded dragon and I’m one thrilled pet owner. However, I realize that other people might not share my pet choice and stick with the tried and true cat method. But what happens when you have too many cats? Like, WAY too many? The mighty Goatwhore will be returning to the road in 2010 with veteran metal icons, DevilDriver and Suffocation! This will be their first tour back in North America following their upcoming European tour and is continuing the support for what is fast becoming their defining album, Carving Out The Eyes Of God. SUFFOCATION Posts New Music Video, Metal Bands Running Out Of Warehouses To Film In

You can check out the new video for “Cataclysmic Purification” from SUFFOCATION below. It was directed by David Brodsky (ARSIS, GOD FORBID, KATAKLYSM, SWASHBUCKLE) featuring animations by Tim Kellen.

Bassist Derek Boyer commented “‘Cataclysmic Purification’ audibly portrays a calamitous future approaching. With this song and the rest of the [new SUFFOCATION] album ['Blood Oath'] I think we’ve maintained the musical integrity of the band while still having comprehendible brutality. ‘Blood Oath’ combines straight forward crushing movements with unsuspecting twists that will certainly entertain everyone from the avid SUFFOCATION listener to the first-time innocent bystanders.”
