Czech Police Finish Investigation For Lamb Of God Singer Randy Blythe’s Case: Recommend Indictment

Czech police have finished their investigation into the death of 19-year old Daniel Nosek, who died after sustaining injuries at a Lamb Of God concert in Prague in 2010. LoG singer Randy Blythe was arrested earlier this year on manslaughter charges and was held in Czech jail for a month and a half. He was ultimately released on bail and made a statement in which he said he will return, if needed, for a trial.

In the final investigation report, Czech police have recommended that Blythe be indicted and return to Prague to stand trial. According to INDES.cz, Prague City Prosecutor’s Office Štěpánka Zenklová stated that this decision will be made “…by the end of November,” after the team has had time to review the case and the facts.

In an interview after his release, Blythe stated, “I feel ethically responsible to go back there and face this charge. [The victim's] family right now is in a lot of pain, and they deserve some answers. To lose a child is the worst possible thing a human can go through, I think .. I want my name cleared. I have to go around the world and tour, you know. That’s what I do. I’m not going to hide here. I’m an innocent man. I’m going to go to court and see what happens.

Once again, this issue may interfere with Lamb Of God touring plans as the band will be on the road in December alongside In Flames and Sylosis. READ MORE

Lamb Of God Announce Fall Headline Tour

Lamb Of God has announced the first full headline tour since Randy Blythe’s incarceration and subsequent release from a Czech Republic prison. Direct support will come from In Flames while Hatebreed will tour from Oct. 30th through Nov. 19th at which point Hellyeah will take over the remaining tour dates. Sylosis has been confirmed as the opening act on all dates. This will be LoG’s first US tour in support of their album Resolution (review).

While I’m still a bit disappointed that the LoG/Dethklok/Gojira tour wasn’t able to take place, I’m pretty thrilled with this lineup! I’ve seen Lamb of God twice as well as In Flames twice and they both put on one hell of a show.

For full touring schedule, check out the dates below. READ MORE
