The ‘All Stars 2013′ tour line-up is taking shape and will be heading out this summer for a full schedule. While no dates have yet been officially announced, the vast majority of acts have been released, beginning with Every Time I Die, who will be the tour headliner. The tour will also feature Chelsea Grin, Veil of Maya, Terror, Stray From The Path, Capture The Crown, IwrestledABearOnce, For All Those Sleeping, and DayShell. Structures, Volumes, and other bands who will be announced in the coming weeks will also be performing in select markets.
Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley states, “We’ve always put a lot of effort into making this band work and when we perform we do so at the highest level of intensity, so to finally be deemed an ‘AllStar’ is a dream come true. I plan on relaxing in a hot tub with Wade Boggs or smoking huge cigars with Ronnie Harmon talking about our visits to Hollywood. Those are just some casual things us AllStars do when we’re not giving 110%. But that’s rare. This tour has a solid line-up and we’re excited to be a part of it. See you all this summer.” READ MORE
Now that Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe has been cleared of all charges in the Prague manslaughter trial, the band has announced a full run of N. American tour dates that will see them touring throughout the US as well as a date in Canada. Support will come from Decapitated with Terror appearing through June 10th at which point The Acacia Strain will take over. The band will be touring in support of their early 2012 release Resolution (review). All tour dates can be found below.
The band has also announced that they will be putting on the “Metal On the Mountain” retreat on July 15th through 19th. Held at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York, the weeklong retreat (limited to 170 fans) will feature guitar and drum clinics, songwriting sessions, competitions, jam sessions, and a full band concert on the final night. Hardcore band Terror is currently touring the world in support of their latest release Keepers Of The Faith. However, going over their world tour schedule, the band has decided to cancel a planned show in Czech Republic to show their support for Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe. The band released the following statement:
“TERROR is going to cancel their show in the Czech Republic this month. We feel obligated to stand up for Randy Blythe. This situation seems to be taken too lightly. Randy comes from punk and hardcore roots, just like TERROR. He still supports underground music and has always supported TERROR– even singing on stage alongside us when we play Richmond. This hits really close to home for us having members of the band and our crew from the hometown of LAMB OF GOD.”
“We love our Czech fans very much and have amazing shows there, but we need to ‘stick tight’ to our friend Randy, which is why we have chosen to cancel the show. As a band that could easily be in this same position at any given show, we don’t think we can play there and act like this is OK – it isn’t.”
“This is bigger than a hashtag or a clever t-shirt– we as a community need to take action and speak up. Free Randy Blythe.”

Old school horror aficionados should be aware that tomorrow, January 24th, Scorpion Releasing and Katarina’s Nightmare Theater will be releasing some rare treats.
First up is a the double disc of The Devil’s Men (featuring Donald Pleasance and Peter Cushing!) and Terror. The Joan Collins starter Revenge will also be available. The Devil’s Men/Terror disc ill be limited to 1700 copies. Just a heads up.

Today Anchor Bay announced the DVD/Blu-Ray release of The Terror Experiment.
Either this movie’s really good, or it’s a really depressing statement about the careers of C. Thomas Howell, Judd Nelson and Jason London. Here’s hoping it’s the former!
In the film, “A terrorist sets off an explosion that rocks the Federal Building and unleashes a toxic gas throughout the ventilation system. His purpose: to expose the Government’s secret biological warfare weapon, a deadly virus that instantly attacks a person’s adrenal system, causing them to become inhumanly aggressive, with an uncontrollable urge to kill each other. ”

This video will be included on the new DVD Defending The Faith, which will be included in the CD/DVD reissue of Keepers Of The Faith, their latest album, which will be out November 1st.
Hardcore band Terror, in the midst of their crazy touring schedule, took some time off to film a video for You’re Caught. Word is that this video is graphic and gory, which sounds right up our alley! The song is will be available on the upcoming DVD Defining the Faith, which will be included in the reissue of Keepers of the Faith.
