Detroit metal masters The Black Dahlia Murder have released a stream of a new song entitled “Raped In Hatred By Vines Of Thorn”, which comes from their upcoming album Everblack. The album is slated for release on June 11th and can be pre-ordered here.
In a recent article we posted, vocalist Trevor Strnad describes his memory of seeing the original Evil Dead and how it influenced this track: “I remember the first time I saw Evil Dead… it was at my friend’s birthday party in 7th grade. It was recommended by the same older sister that had gotten us all into punk and heavy metal music… so we knew we were in for the real deal. The movie scared the unholy 13 year old shit out of us… we were terrified. I remember the possessions really affecting me… the way the people would contort and writhe was disturbing. The possessed had that awful way that they sounded when they spoke and howled… pretty insane as well. The vine rape scene was intense… I love the idea of the forest coming alive… so much so that I wrote a song about it many years later.”
New Jersey metal outfit Beyond Dishonor have released a Breaking Bad-inspired music video for their new single “Heisenberg”. Directed by Mitch Martinez, the video features shady laboratories, sleazy executives, and more. You can watch the video after the jump.
Vocalist Reese Dunlap comments, “It’s an obvious homage to one of our favorite pieces of entertainment, but it is wrapped around a stronger metaphor – just as Walt perfects the formula against his better judgement, so too are we forced to find and perfect the formula for notice and respect in this tumultuous industry and genre. That theme is referenced throughout the song, and goes one step further in the video, where we are, in a sense, a victim of this formulaic control. It is only when we have ‘perfected the formula’ that we can finally escape mediocrity.”
Beyond Dishonor will also be releasing a new EP entitled Generations this June. The EP was produced by Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Impending Doom). The band is also heading on a short tour and will be supporting Miss May I on several dates. The full touring schedule is below. READ MORE
Metal band The Black Dahlia Murder has released “Into The Everblack”, their first single from the upcoming album Everblack (out June 11th via Metal Blade Records). The band has also released the album artwork, which was done by Nick Keller. Pre-orders for Everblack can be found here.
Vocalist Trevor Strnad elaborates on the lyrical concepts: “The opening track is the first actual song we’ve done about the Black Dahlia. This one is for the fans… they’ve been asking for this to happen for a long time. The story takes place at the Elizabeth Short’s rain drenched funeral, where her killer in attendance… just one of the many macabre tales woven into the fabric of Everblack. Subterranean flesh-farming vampires, vine rape, Jeffery Dahmer, amputation… it’s all here! With this sixth slab of sickness I tried my best to honor the band’s legacy and write lyrics that will keep the legions of horror fiends perspiring with fear.”
You can listen to “Into The Everblack” below as well as check out tour dates for TBDM on the Vans Warped tour. READ MORE
The new Evil Dead film will be coming out next Friday and it seems like the entire horror fanbase is on pins and needles awaiting its release. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen such hype for a horror release since I began here at Bloody-Disgusting back in late 2009. From the look of it, it’s a film that not only respects the horror fanbase but is a film made for us. Still, having not seen the film, I can only wait with you and hope for the best.
This excitement and fervor has swept into the music world and members of some of the most extreme and intense bands out there want to share their thoughts on the original films and the upcoming remake. Head on below for thoughts from members of Paradise Lost, The Black Dahlia Murder, Monuments, Tech N9ne, Bonded By Blood, Palisades, Broken Hope, and a whole slew more! READ MORE

Hearing the new music has only solidified that feeling. Working with our good friends at Metal Blade and bringing great new music to the masses is what it’s all about.”
Guitarist Hiran Deraniyagala says the band is “…stoked to be working with a prolific studio and producer at Audiohammer. We’re so focused on making a killer follow up album and we feel that Mark Lewis will help bring our raw, live sound to life.”

Vocalist Trevor Strnad comments, “We in the Black Dahlia Murder look forward to seeing you and your friend’s fancy haircuts this summer at the Van’s Warped Tour. I think it’s safe to say that all of us in TBDM have attended this tour at various points and have fond memories of this great American punk rock freak show. This time, we shall be the freaks… the sore thumb poking at your eyeball. We are proud to be the fastest, craziest, and most evil band that has ever played Warped Tour… hundreds of bands will enter, one band will leave. Us. We will emerge from the rubble like the giant cockroach men we are. See ya this summer… let’s get warped!!!”

Okay, horrible facial disfigurement aside, someone REALLY needs to call the doctor! When your nether bits are engulfed in flames and can double as a flamethrower, my recommendation is a hefty dose of penicillin, STAT! But no, I guess that’s asking a bit too much.
In Dethklok‘s video for “I Ejaculate Fire”, a pharaoh receives a delightful “offering” from a woman who just so happens to be a demon/succubus/Smokey The Bear’s worst nightmare. From that point on, the pharaoh roams the lands, “showering” people with his flames of lust. It all comes to a header when he runs into said STD-ridden woman and a good ole’ fashioned standoff ensues. Who is the winner? Check below for the answer! But be warned! This video, even though it’s animated, is pretty NSFW. So tread carefully!
For details on the upcoming Dethalbum III, check here. Dethklok has also just announced a headlining tour with Machine Head, All That Remains, and The Black Dahlia Murder. Tour dates can be found here. READ MORE

Bloody-Disgusting Music is beyond excited to bring you the premiere for The Black Dahlia Murder‘s Moonlight Equilibrium music video! The video shows two Victorian-era couples getting their dues when they mock and abuse a butler, who just so happens to be a werewolf. I’ve gotta give this a NSFW rating as their is gore, violence, bare breasts, and sexual themes. Therefore, it’s everything you could want out of a music video! Check out this awesome video below.
The track comes off the band’s latest release, Ritual. Make sure to pick up a copy on iTunes if you haven’t done so already.

Detroit metal legends The Black Dahlia Murder have announced a full US headlining tour set for this fall in support of their latest album Ritual. Joining them will be All Shall Perish (who just tore up the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival) and Cannibas Corpse. Based on the name of that last band, I have a sneaky suspicion that there are going to be many evenings with smoke-filled vans. Shame on you bands! You’re rock stars now and everyone knows rock stars NEVER do drugs! Right? …right?
With the recent release of Ritual, The Black Dahlia Murder is causing untold devastation upon the metal world! And to be completely honest, it’s fully deserved. We are only just a mere three weeks away from the release of the new IN THIS MOMENT album, A Star-Crossed Wasteland, and the reaction to the new single “The Gun Show” further proves that this is one of the most anticipated metal releases of the year. The band are extremely excited to partner up with Revolver Magazine to exclusively present their new cowboy themed video for “The Gun Show,” which was shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky (As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence, The Black Dahlia Murder). Check it out at Revolver Magazine.

After wrapping up their headlining run with the hugely successful Atticus Metal Tour II, Unearth are taking their show overseas. First, they’ll conquer Japan, Australia and New Zealand with label mates, The Black Dahlia Murder. Once that run is over, the guys are taking what will be one of the longest flights ever to the United Kingdom for a European tour with 36 Crazyfists.
Unearth vocalist Trevor Phipps comments: “What better way to spend our May and June than touring Japan, Australia and New Zealand with our buds in The Black Dahlia Murder and also hitting up much of Europe and the summer festivals with our boys in 36 Crazy Fists? I don’t really see a point in trying to answer that question because there isn’t a better answer. If you live in any of the places I mentioned, come on out, bang your heads, hit the pit, drink some beer and do some stupid shit. This is our last go around the World until 2011, so let’s make this a rager for the ages. See you soon, World!”
“The biggest defenders of traditional heavy metal”, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, kick off the New Year with a bang continuing their touring onslaught aiming their sights on all of Europe as part of the much anticipated “Bonecrusher Fest” tour starting Jan. 8th with The Black Dahlia Murder and Necrophobic.
