Shooting began this morning on The Devil’s Carnival, the latest genre offering from Repo! The Genetic Opera, Saw II-IV, Mother’s Day and The Barrens director Darren Lynn Bousman.
Bloody Disgusting exclusively learned that horror fav Bill Moseley has officially signed on to star. He can also be seen in Bousman’s Repo! The Genetic Opera, as well as horror classics Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Army of Darkness House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.
The Devil’s Carnival is a 45-minute experimental short about a carnival run by the devil. There will be singing and dancing, much like Bousman’s Repo!. The genre mash-up was teased the other week with a new website alongside a lengthy video. READ MORE

Bousman – who also got behind the camera for Saw II-IV, Mother’s Day, 11-11-11 and the forthcoming The Barrens – launched an official website for a mysterious new project entitled The Devil’s Carnival. The site featured the following colorful 2-minute long short teaser for the yet-to-be filmed genre flick and a forum to brainstorm with other fans on what the carnival will have to offer.

The flashy website features a roadshow carnival look alongside a 12-minute long video teaser that follows a pretty hot carney as she fiddles around with a bunch of contraptions. It makes me feel like I’m watching something at EPCOT in Orlando, only it’s charred in the depths of Hell. It’s the perfect Christmas treat!
