The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia (formerly Haunting in Georgia) has been slated for an limited theatrical release alongside VOD platforms starting February 1, 2013. Bloody Disgusting has landed three exclusive new looks inside the sequel, two of which are pretty friggin’ cool.

From the producers of The Haunting in Connecticut comes the chilling true story of the Wyrick family. “When Andy Wyrick moves his wife Lisa and daughter Heidi to an historic home in Georgia, they quickly discover they are not the house’s only inhabitants. Joined by Lisa’s free-spirited sister, Joyce, the family soon comes face-to-face with a bone-chilling mystery born of a deranged desire… a haunting secret rising from underground and threatening to bring down anyone in its path.”

The long awaited The Haunting in Connecticut 2: The Ghosts of Georgia (formerly Haunting in Georgia) has been slated for an limited theatrical release alongside VOD platforms starting February 1, 2013. The new model is being utilized by Dimension, Magnolia and other studios as a fun new way of releasing films. It just won’t be opening on thousands of screens. If there’s one studio that has always been good to horror fans it’s the Gate. Since Saw broke loose in 2004, the mini major has been pumping out genre product in fist fulls.

Last year was no different as they released the incredible high concept slasher The Cabin in the Woods, as well as the Sam Raimi produced Possession and the Battle Royale-esque The Hunger Games.

With 2013 on the horizon, things kick off with a new Leatherface movie, although we hold our breath for films like Nurse 3D and the festival favorite You’re Next. READ MORE
