The Human Centipede II Home Video Specs Include Deleted Scenes

IFC Films highly controversialThe Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (three reviews) gets its physical medium release when it hits Blu-ray and DVD on February 14th, 2012.

The life, love and tribulations of Martin can currently be accessed on iTunes, Digital Download and on SundanceNow.com, but collectors will be happy to know their tactile needs will be assuaged. On the most romantic day of the year no less.

Extras include Interview with Filmmaker Tom Six, Commentary with Tom Six and Laurence R. Harvey, Set Tour of Warehouse, Foley Sound Effects, Making the Poster and Deleted Scenes.

“The first film’s evil Dr. Heiter has inspired a real-life protege, the sickly, disturbed security guard Martin (Laurence R. Harvey), who repeatedly watches (and even gets a sexual thrill from) Six’s movie. Martin decides to re-create the sick feat of the original film – in which Heiter sewed three kidnap victims together to form one long, continuous digestive tract. Martin plans to up the ante for his piece de resistance: a 12-person human centipede of his own. Ashlynn Yennie, star of The Human Centipede (First Sequence), returns as herself, an actress lured into this no-holds-barred assault on the senses that pushes the limits of taste and gastrointestinal endurance.”

IFC Films’ The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (read all three reviews) is now in limited theaters everywhere and is garnering more attention with this “sick” new one sheet that’s guaranteed to be one of the best of the year.

In addition, we ask that you return to Bloody and write your own review. HC2 is one of the most controversial films of the year and everyone wants to know what YOU think!

The sequel tells the story of a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first film and who imagines putting the ‘centipede’ idea into practice. The film features a 12-person centipede (kinda). Tom Six directs this hilarious meta-gore film that’ll blow your mind.

The Human Centipede 2 Censored, Cut and Approved by BBFC

Eureka Entertainment’s shock-horror The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence), which was banned from UK distribution in April by the British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC) has now been passed with an 18 certificate after a number of cuts.

Ian Sadler, Sales Director for Eureka Entertainment, Bounty Films’ UK distributor says they were able to “produce a very viable cut of the film which will both excite and challenge its fans,” adding that “Naturally we have a slight disappointment that we have had to make cuts, but we feel that the storyline has not been compromised and the level of horror has been sustained.”

The BBFC is a despicable group of people who are inflicting censorship on this planet. It’s one thing to slap an X or NC-17 on a product, it’s another to completely ban it. I’m sorry, but I’m an adult and don’t need a bunch of assholes telling me what I can and can’t see. Dicks.

Dates for a UK theatrical and DVD release will be announced early next week. Those people should probably just pick up the domestic release…

Two days after The Human Centipede: Full Sequence premiered at Fantastic Fest 2011, I got a chance to sit down with director Tom Six and star Laurence R. Harvey over a cup of coffee to discuss the on-screen insanity that permanently seared itself into my brain. It’s no secret that the film was almost unanimously disliked at the fest, but Six and Harvey seem to be relishing in the hate and, from the sounds of it, it’s motivating them to go to the extreme with the next and final entry in the trilogy, The Human Centipede: Final Sequence.

It looks like I’m in the minority on this one, but I thought Tom Six’s The Human Centipede (Full Sequence) was a hilarious jab at the critics that have condemned him since the first film back in 2009. While it does come off as beating a dead horse to no end, it’s still a piece of art that one shouldn’t be taking too seriously. Yet, all the things I admire about the Franken-film, are all of the things critics appear to be slamming. To each their own, I guess.

You’ll find my positive review here, with David Harley joining the likes of Brad McHargue with his highly negative review beyond the break. I seriously cannot wait until October 7 to see what you, dear Bloody Disgusting readers, have to say! – Mr. Disgusting.

Reviews have begun pouring online so I figured we may as well post our first in a series hitting Bloody Disgusting. Brad McHargue (@BradMcHargue) reports in from Fantastic Fest following the world premiere of Tom Six’s The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). Much like the reviews I’ve seen thus far, McHargue was NOT a fan, which actually makes me even more excited to see it myself.

I’ve never met Tom Six, and haven’t really conversed with him at all. To be frank, I don’t even know what to make of him. Is he arrogant? Is he a sociopath? Is he one of those directors who only cares about shocking his audience? I’ve been in the dark ever since his The Human Centipede (First Sequence) blew my mind back in 2009. Being that I’m the kind of guy who likes to stare you right in the eye and see what makes you tick, the shroud of mystery around Six has literally drove me insane. Up until today, I’ve had no actual opinion on the Euro director.

But now, with The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) premiering at the Fantastic Fest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, the director has opened up with an absolutely mind blowing interview with the NY Times where he talks about making his new villain rape a chair, and how he’s comfortable having his films tagged as “torture porn.”

Premiering at Fantastic Fest this weekend is the hotly anticipated The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence), Tom Six’s black-and-white sequel that opens in limited theaters October 7 from IFC Films.

Bloody Disgusting scored an exclusive new still that shows the franchise’s latest villain, Martin, played by newcomer Laurence R. Harvey. It also features Ashlynn Yennie, who was part of Six’s three-person centipede back in 2009. She play “Jenny” in the first film, while the second she’s credited as “Miss Yennie.” What can you make of the image?
