[FrightFest '12] The Living. The Dead. Worship ‘The Inside’ Art and Trailer

Monster Pictures present’s the FrightFest World Premiere of The Inside, with the director and cast in attendance. Check out the newly released trailer and festival poster art!

While in a pawnshop a young man comes into possession of a second hand video camera; discovering a tape still inside he plays back the footage and witnesses a horrific series of events involving a group of teens in an undisclosed location. Using the footage as a guide he retraces the steps to where the events seemingly occurred. Deciding to investigate he discovers to his horror not only the truth of the events on the tape but comes face to face with a supernatural terror from which he may not escape….

You’ve seen him as Sir Gwaine in the BBC’s TV series Merlin, now Eoin Macken steps behind the camera to direct The Inside, featuring Czech starlet Tereza Srbova (Sirens, Eastern Promises) alongside the cream of Irish acting talent that includes Emmett J. Scanlan (fan favourite Brendan Brady in Hollyoaks, Charlie Casanova), Sean Stewart (Occi, Coward), Natalia Kostrzewa (The Clinic) & Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones). The WORLD PREMIERE takes place at the 13th Frightfest, Empire Cinema, Leicester Square on the Discovery Screen, Sunday 26th August 12.45PM (Also screening on Monday 27th 6.30PM).

[FrightFest '12] New Images From The Best of British Horror: ‘Cockneys vs. Zombies’ ‘The Inside’ ‘May I Kill U?’ ‘Before Dawn’ & More

This morning we announced the 13th annual Film4 FrightFest line up that will unload from Thursday, August 23 to Monday, August 27. The UK’s leading event for horror fantasy fans will be back at the Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square to present 48 films in three screens. (Check out the festivals official website for ticket info.)

Part of the announcement, the Best of British horror fantasy gets its usual FF fanfare with their already announced opening film Paul Hyett’s The Seasoning House and closer, James Nunn and Ronnie Thompson’s Tower Block. Also showcased are Peter Strickland’s extraordinary Italian horror deconstruction Berberian Sound Studio, Jon Wright’s creature feature Grabbers, the living dead romp Cockneys vs. Zombies, the human experiment warning Guinea Pigs, the killer clown comedy Stitches, the cannibal serial killer chiller Sawney, the psycho cop thriller May I Kill U?, the gory allegory Before Dawn (above), the fear of The Inside and the frightening Community.
