Today the fine folks over at Halo-8 informed us that the company, which is the leading distributor and publisher of ‘motion comics’, have teamed up with digital comic provider Digita.ly to offer fans issues of their popular “GODKILLER” series, as well as “THE LONG KNIVES”, for just .99 cents! So last month we brought you a month’s worth of exclusive content from up and coming Indy publisher, Hardway Studios, and that was a lot of fun, so we decided to do it all over again this month. Only this time we went a step further and teamed up with someone that I have been getting all kinds of questions about, none other then the crazy people that brought you “GODKILLER”, Halo-8! What do illustrated films, revenge flicks, giallo horror, Burton, and Argento all have in common? Yes they are all awesome, but we would also have accepted “THE LONG KNIVES” as an answer. Ever since the “GODKILLER” creators announced the project at Wondercon this year the buzz behind the gothic story has been roaring, and this past weekend the crew over at Halo-8 announced new details regarding the project as well as releasing a ton of photos. Well even though “WONDERCON” ended a few days ago we are still getting new info in that was announced over the weekend. Today we got word that publisher Halo 8 (“GODKILLER”) will be bringing comic book fans another of their unique “illustrated films” with the horror story, “THE LONG KNIVES” that is described as “a giallo horror, bare-knuckled revenge movie with an otherworldly Tim Burton-esque aesthetic.”.
