Christian metal band Living Sacrifice will release a deluxe edition of their latest album ‘Living Sacrifice’ on November 30th. The deluxe edition will include three bonus tracks and eight DVD quality music videos. This release will be an iTunes exclusive debut, so get your iTunes account all set and ready. The band will be releasing this deluxe edition as a precursor to their upcoming ‘A Very Metal Christmas Tour’, which will feature labelmates The Showdown, Becoming The Archetype, To Speak Of Wolves, and As They Sleep (tour dates after the jump).

The Showdown Release Trailer For ‘Blood In The Gears’

Nashville’s veteran heavy metal act, The Showdown, has posted a short video trailer in anticipation of their fourth full-length record, Blood In The Gears, which is due out on August 24th on Solid State Records.  
 
Four new tracks from Blood In The Gears –  “Take Me Home”, “Bring It Down”, “Heavy Lies The Crown”, and “Blood In The Gears” – are currently available for streaming on the band’s official MySpace page.
Blood In The Gears was recorded and produced by The Showdown’s own Jeremiah Scott (bass) at his home studio, Anthem Productions, in Nashville.  The album was mixed by Steve Blackmon (Living Sacrifice, Project 86), with Troy Glessener at Spectre handling the mastering.  Artwork comes courtesy of Ryan Clark at Invisible Creature Inc.  Blood In The Gears is The Showdown’s second Solid State release, following 2008’s Back Breaker.

The Showdown, Nashville’s supercharged heavy metal outfit, has posted a brand new song, “Heavy Lies The Crown”, on their official MySpace page.  The explosive, Southern-fueled track from The Showdown’s forthcoming full-length, Blood In The Gears, can now be streamed, joining the album’s recently revealed title track.  Blood In The Gears hits stores on August 24th on Solid State Records. Fans can also pre-order the album, and chose from various bundle packages HERE.

Florida based death metal legends Malevolent Creation have uploaded the song “Slaughterhouse” to the band’s Myspace page. The track comes from their upcoming 11th studio outing entitled Invidious Dominion, which will be released on August 24 in North America via Nuclear Blast. 
Invidious Dominion was produced and recorded by Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Krisium, Goatwhore) at Mana Studios in Florida. The cover art was brought to life this time around by renowned artist Pär Olofsson (The Faceless, Immortal, Abysmal Dawn).

Tennessee’s riff-tastic southern metal outfit, The Showdown, has announced an August 24th street date for their Solid State Records sophomore release, Blood in the Gears.  The forthcoming full-length was recorded at Anthem Productions in Nashville, and produced by The Showdown’s own, Jeremiah Scott. The album’s title track, and first single off the record, is available for streaming on the band’s official MySpace page.  Blood in the Gears is The Showdown’s fourth studio album, and the follow up to 2008’s, Back Breaker.

“Blood in the Gears is true to what The Showdown has always been about in the past,” explains vocalist David Bunton, “…heavy, thrashy, southern, groovy.  Jeremiah Scott (Bass) recorded and produced the record, all in house and on our own terms.  We are sounding like we want to and saying exactly what we want to.  That’s what heavy metal is all about.”
