“The Walking Dead“‘s show runner Glen Mazzara describes the most adrenalized season ever, explains how the prison and Woodbury are characters unto themselves and ponders the possibility of his severed head showing up in Season 3. We’ve also added 6 new images from the premiere episode.

In Season 3, premiering October 14, “Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and company will face a brand new threat – one that is very much human.
