Over the weekend RPG makers Eden Studios went public with plans to release an all new RPG based upon Tim Seeley’s creator owned property “HACK/SLASH”. The popular comic has been growing by leaps and bounds in popularity since it was moved from its original publishers Devil’s Due to Image Comics, and beyond the break you can get all the details from the official press release. No word on whether or not you’ll have to go out and buy your girlfriends cosplay gear yet, but hey, we won’t tell on you. Read on for the skinny.
It has been a long delay between issue #29 of Tim Seeley’s “HACK/SLASH” and the newest installment in the series that went on-sale yesterday. So now that the series will be moving itself over to Image Comics this June the author looks to tie up some loose ends with DDP as he tries to wrap up the “SUPER SIDEKICK SLEEPOVER SLAUGHTER” arc before the release of “MY FIRST MANIAC”. No idea whether or not he will succeed, but inside you can read the first 5 pages of what may very well be the last issue of “HACK/SLASH” from Devil’s Due that went on-sale yesterday. Read on for the skinny.
For those of you who aren’t up to date on the goings on between ex-Devil’s Due writer Tim Seeley (“HACK/SLASH”) then you can get yourself caught up on all that here, and then you can click on beyond the break and take a look at some new interior artwork for his first arc from new publisher Image with “MY FIRST MANIAC”. Read on for the skinny. “The focus of the series is on a horror victim, Cassie, who strikes back at the monsters, known as “slashers”, with Vlad, a disfigured “gentle giant” who frequently wears a gas mask.”
I don’t think that anyone saw this one coming except for those close to the players involved, but as of today Tim Seeley (Creator ‘HACK/SLASH’) is no longer writing for publisher Devil’s Due and in doing so will be taking his cult horror smash, ‘HACK/SLASH’, with him! But where is he taking his million dollar title to? How about the creator owned comic haven that is Image Comics?! Read on for all the details on the departure, and what this move could potentially mean for everyone involved!
