Relapse Records Releases Tribute Sampler In Honor Of Recently Deceased Employee

Relapse Records recently suffered a great loss as their Director Of Retail Sales Pat Egan passed away on Monday, Feb. 18th due to complications stemming from pneumonia. To honor his memory, Relapse has put together a 20-track tribute album that features a collection of his favorite artists and songs. All bands included have waived their royalty fees so that 100% of the proceeds can go towards a college fund for Egan’s daughter Katie. The compilation is $5 and available via Bandcamp here. Formed in 1980, British punk/heavy metal band English Dogs have influenced some of the biggest names in rock and metal history. Now the boys are back and ready to tour the US! Support will be coming from the fine gentlemen of The Casualties, Toxic Holocaust, and Havok. Check after the jump for all tour dates!

I have a long history of concert injuries – including the infamous flying purse to the face incident at a 2008 Dethklok show. However, a personal favorite of mine – and one that will always hold a special place in my heart – is the foot long bruise I obtained on my leg from the mosh pit at a Toxic Holocaust show.

Krum Bums will be touring the US later this summer in support of their upcoming album Cut The Noose, which comes out August 23rd. They will be hitting the road with Toxic Holocaust. Frontman Dave Tejas commented on the upcoming tour: “Our tour with Toxic Holocaust is something to be feared! Krum Bums and Toxic Holocaust, friends for years, have now combined forces to piss off this conservative world! Who gives a fuck? We don’t. We look forward to our cross-over with punk and metal with Toxic Holocaust. No one stands a chance. This is our life and we will destroy yours.”
