Tony Moore is one of the best artists working in the horror genre today. His detailed, hyper-violent artwork has produced some terrifying and stomach churning images that are now burned into the minds’ of his readers. Moore’s work on “The Walking Dead” and “Fear Agent” are both considered timeless classics.
Moore will be appearing at Toronto ComiCon March 7th-9th and he jumped at the chance to speak with Bloody-Disgusting about his work. Announced today, Skybound and Monster X Tour will be bringing the immersive zombie obstacle course, inspired by “The Walking Dead”, on a national tour for fans. The course, which debuted at Comic Con International (pictured below) is designed to allow participants to be either as “Walkers” or “Survivors” as they make their way through various scenarios. Robert Kirkman is well known around BD for creating the comic book series that the hit AMC TV series is based on. What most people don’t know is that Kirkman has a whole slew of other great books, including the long-running, ultra-violent superhero series, “Invincible”, also from Image Comics. This April, “Invincible” will reach its 111th issue, and as a means to attract new readers Kirkman is taking the series in a new direction that is a perfect jumping-on-point. Check it all out below. The release of “The Walking Dead” #115 is a special issue as it marks the beginning of the “All Out War” arc, and, more importantly, the 10th anniversary of the series. To celebrate the event, on midnight of October 9th, Image Comics will be teaming up with retailers across North America to host “The Walking Dead” parties. As part of the event, the book will be made available at midnight, just in case you couldn’t wait a few more hours to get your paws on it.

In another stunning issue, Rick and his group feel the wrath of Negan. “The Walking Dead” has kicked into high gear and doesn’t show signs of letting up.
Negan’s wrath can is felt through the page. His huge ego and commanding presence tower over Rick both figuratively and literally. After the events last month he is pissed and seeks revenge. Kirkman has taken careful steps to illustrate that Negan is a special kind of maniac. He has a code of honor, and he is intelligent. Yesterday at the big Image Comics Expo, Robert Kirkman announced his plans for the ten-year anniversary of “The Walking Dead”. The events are set to kick of this October, starting with the beginning of a new arc, ““All-Out War”. The 12-issue arc will begin with issue #115 and will be released on a bi-weekly basis. As part of the celebration, Image will also be releasing a special edition printing of “The Walking Dead” #1 in full color. Every character is pushed to the brink of conflict, as things get more interesting in “The Walking Dead”. Kirkman is the master of a looming sense of dread. Just in time for Michonne’s appearance in the season 3 premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead this week, Image Comics is releasing a special issue featuring the sword-wielding heroine.
