Four teenage boys who ritualistically hunt and kill teenage girls in the woods choose the wrong victim for their sick game.

Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.

That’s not an exaggeration. Photographer Tyler Shields makes his directorial debut with Final Girl, and he’s opted to show you a condensed 60 second version of the entire film in this trailer (via Yahoo). It’s a bold move and I’m curious to see what you think.

Photographer Tyler Shields is now in pre-production on Final Girl, whcih begins lensing later this year in Canada. With AFM a few weeks away Studio City Pictures revealed the full cast for the flick that follows four teenage boys who ritualistically hunt and kill teenage girls in the woods choose the wrong victim for their sick game.

Abigail Breslin, Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley, Logan Huffman, Michael Trevino, Connor Paolo, Francesca Eastwood and Michael Trevino all star, Bloody Disgusting can report.

Abigail Breslin (Zombieland, Little Miss Sunshine) has just committed to starring in photographer Tyler Shields slasher debut Final Girl. I know she’s used to doing some fairly serious, tasking stuff – but this sounds like a very intense role.

From Studio City Pictures, and penned by Steve Scarlata, Alejandro Seri and Johnny Silver, the pic “Follows a pack of feral teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their final ‘initiation.’”

While New Line Cinema announced the horror comedy Final Girls (featuring the comical title implying more than one “final girl”, a horror term referring to the last woman standing in a genre film), famed photographer Tyler Shields will make his feature directorial debut with the thriller Final Girl, yet another similarly titled slasher, reports Variety.

Jack Nasser, chief exec of NGN Releasing and Studio City Pictures, will finance the pic, which “follows a pack of feral teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their final ‘initiation.’ ”

Steve Scarlata, Alejandro Seri and Johnny Silver wrote the script.

Photog Shields has directed musicvideos and earned acclaim for his video portraits as well as his work in the art and celebrity form, including controversial shoots with Lindsay Lohan and “Glee” star Heather Morris. READ MORE
