Rob Zombie is certainly a busy dude. He’s currently on tour and he just got done putting the finishing touches on for The Lords of Salem. While the release plans for that film get figured out, it doesn’t sound like he’s in any particular hurry to jump back behind the camera. And while lots of fans have been looking forward to Werewolf Women Of The SS and Tyrannosaurus Rex, they shouldn’t really be holding their breath.

Speaking to ScreenCrush in regard to both projects he said, “Well neither of those are film projects I’m working on, ‘Werewolf Women of the SS’ was just what it was, it was a fake trailer for a Quentin Tarantino movie. That’s all it was ever supposed to be, it was never going to be a full movie. ‘Tyrannosaurus Rex’ is a script that I wrote, that I have but it’s not planned anytime soon. We finished ‘Lords of Salem’ and I’ll be doing music for the next year and a half within that year in a half maybe we’ll do ‘Tyrannosaurus Rex’ maybe not. I don’t know what the next movie is – we’ll figure that out.”

There you have it. Good news if you’re a fan of his music, bad news if you don’t like waiting for movies,

The last time I brought you an interview with Jeff Zornow it was uncensored… with a picture of two dudes, a goat, and some good old-fashioned bestiality. This time Zornow brought Jay Fotos and Mark Kidwell along for the ride, and they were nice enough to talk with BD about Tyrannosaurus Rex. When the teasers for Jeff Zornow and Mark Kidwell’s latest project, “TYRANNOSAURUS REX”, hit the net there was a confused fever across the horror comic community as some thought that the teaser was another piece of artwork for Rob Zombie’s long promised series by the same name. However, when the dust settled it was apparent that that was not the case, and instead the two horror titans would be bringing fans of such giant monster movies as “GODZILLA” a much more Jurassic treat. The Ray Harryhausen inspired dino epic known as “TYRANNOSAURUS REX” was first made known to us here at Graphic Content earlier this Fall, as it was revealed that publisher Image Comics would be working with the writing team of Jay Fotos & Mark Kidwell (along with illustrator, Jeff Zornow) on the prehistoric horror title slated for a a February release date. Since then there haven’t been any real updates, but that all changed today as Newsarama released the first look inside the series’ debut issue, which can be found beyond the break.
