With a new album coming out and a tour about to kick off, Five Finger Death Punch are insanely busy right now. So, to help them out, I’m posting this article with all sorts of FFDP news so you don’t have to scramble all over the Internet trying to find it all. First of all, below is a shout-out video from Jeremy and Zoltan for YOU, the Bloody-Disgusting readers!
ARTISTDirect.com has exclusively premiered the video for Five Finger Death Punch‘s song Under And Over It, which you can check after the jump. The video is a scathing satire on the ridiculous visuals that usually accompany rock music videos, including barely clad women, drinking, lavish lifestyles, and more. Let’s just say this whole party ends with a bang. Literally!
Check out the artwork after the jump and let me know your thoughts. Personally, I’m getting a little tired the grindhouse look. What about you?
Five Finger Death Punch are undoubtedly one of the biggest acts in the hard rock/metal scene today and the proof is in their latest single, Under and Over It. The track was number one on iTunes and when news of its release came out, the FFDP server crashed due to the overwhelming number of listeners and supporters. Already, it’s making its way to becoming the most requested rock song on radio stations all over the country.
Five Finger Death Punch are gearing up for the release of their third studio album American Capitalist. Not ones to sit on their laurels, the band is already getting set for the Share The Welt tour, which will also feature All That Remains, Hatebreed, and Rev Theory. The album is due to drop October 11th, so make sure to keep an eye out for it!
Revolver Mag scored an exclusive stream of Under And Over It, the new song from Five Finger Death Punch, as well as an interview with vocalist Ivan Moody discussing this song in particular. Having listened to the track a few times, I’ll say that some things work really well for me and some things are just a bit much. I love the sound of the instruments and the overall feel of the song. It’s a pick-you-up-and-slam-you-down type of song. However, some of the lyrics are just so cliche/juvenile. They honestly made me wince a few times.
