This may have just made my day. Today DC imprint Wildstorm revealed plans to continue Ian Edginton’s award nominated “VICTORIAN UNDEAD” with a special one-shot that will be release on October 13th. Even better? The story is marked as “#1″, which means fans of the Sherlock Holmes Vs. Zombies action (IE-me) will more than likely be getting even more stories from the character! Below you can get all the details and an early look at the cover…
WRITTEN BY: Ian Edginton
ILLUSTRATIONS BY: Horacio Domingues
COVERS BY: Ethan Van Sciver.
“The critically acclaimed series returns! London is recovering from the frightful destruction at the hands of Moriarty’s undead army, and like their neighbors, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson set about rebuilding their lives. But a rash of murders leads them to believe that a zombie might have survived the quarantine and the hunt begins…leading them to the doorstep of one Dr. Jekyll!”

Well it was a great ride, but this Wednesday Wildstorm Comics delivers the final chapter of the popular “VICTORIAN UNDEAD” series with Issue #6. This month marks the rematch of Holmes and the undead master himself, Professor Moriarty, in what promises to be the most thrilling issue of all. Read on for the skinny and then chime in with your thoughts on the series now that it is about to sing its swan song.
It is crazy just how successful Wildstorm Comics zombified twist on the Sherlock Holmes legend has been, and early reports are saying that this week’s 5th issue in the 6 issue mini has sold out on several internet comic providers. This is all for good reason, “VICTORIAN UNDEAD” has been nothing short of fantastic since its first issue last year, and as the story heads towards an epic finale we here at Bloody-Disgusting have decided to shine the spotlight once again on Ian Edginton’s title choosing it as our “BD Pick Of The Week”. Read on for all the details, and as always, why you should care.
One of the guiltiest pleasures in comic books right now (Yes, even more so than “Barack the Barbarian”) is Wildstorm’s “Victorian Undead.” As tentative as most were when this one was announced last year I wasn’t sure how this one would go over, but since its first issue in November the mini-series has been a very popular title for the company. Beyond the break you’ll find the preview for the 3rd issue in the ongoing dilemma before Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.
When Wildstorm started their 6 issue one shot ‘Victorian Undead’ back in December they were met with the enthusiastic embrace of the hyped up masses ready to see Robert Downey Jr in another blockbuster film, and legions of deadheads everywhere. Now the team is back with issue 2 to try and stave our hunger. Read on for the full review.
Wildstorm just released a comic series with a different angle to the zombie genre. Victorian Undead tells the story of a zombie outbreak during the turn of the 20th century…and only one man can stop them, Sherlock Holmes. Is it any good or is it dead on arrival? Read on for my quick review.

New comics this week and it’s very very slim. But if I could suggest one comic it would be Wildstorm’s Victorian Undead #1. The internet has been abuzz about it, I just picked up my copy and ready to read it up. Full list after the break, what are you getting?

Over at Wildstorm comic’s Blog, they just released the cover for issue three of Victorian Undead. Now issue one isn’t out yet but I’m pretty pumped for 3 just for the cover! It seems the zombies are invading 221 Baker Street…which if my knowledge serves me is where Sherlock Holmes lives. Holmes vs. Zombies you say?!? Keep checking the blog for more info on Victorian Undead…
