['Evil Dead' Month] Members Of The Black Dahlia Murder, Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, And More Talk The ‘Evil Dead’ Films

The new Evil Dead film will be coming out next Friday and it seems like the entire horror fanbase is on pins and needles awaiting its release. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen such hype for a horror release since I began here at Bloody-Disgusting back in late 2009. From the look of it, it’s a film that not only respects the horror fanbase but is a film made for us. Still, having not seen the film, I can only wait with you and hope for the best.

This excitement and fervor has swept into the music world and members of some of the most extreme and intense bands out there want to share their thoughts on the original films and the upcoming remake. Head on below for thoughts from members of Paradise Lost, The Black Dahlia Murder, Monuments, Tech N9ne, Bonded By Blood, Palisades, Broken Hope, and a whole slew more! READ MORE

Counterparts Releases Official Video For “The Disconnect”

Hardcore band Counterparts has released an official video for “The Disconnect”, which comes off their latest release The Current Will Carry Us. The footage was filmed during their recent Canadian tour with Stray From The Path, Obey The Brave, Backtrack, and Northlane. Check it out below.

Vocalist Brendan Murphy comments, “The video for “The Disconnect” is a perfect representation of us as a band. When we go on tour, we aren’t there to impress anyone, we aren’t going to “work”, and we are going to have fun. Since day one, this band has been about having fun and making ourselves happy. This video gives people an insight into who we are when we aren’t on stage and how we spend our time. Whether it is skateboarding, trust-falling off our trailer, dancing, getting drunk, playing UNO in crappy hotel rooms or just straight up being children; you can be sure that we’re having the time of our lives. That’s what motivates us to get in the van time after time.READ MORE

Before telling you to read on I’ve got to warn you, the end is very graphic, very NSFW, and I feel a little dirty after watching it.
