Earlier this year, right before Valentine’s Day, we hosted an article innocuously titled “10 Horror Movies That You May Not Watch With Your Girlfriend” that sparked a huge amount of discussion. Now the author of that list, Bryce Lucien (vocalist of Dallas, TX metal band Seeker), is back with another list that is sure to rustle more than a few jimmies! He’s decided to take on the zombie film genre and give us his Top 10 reasons why they’re not all that they’re cracked up to be. Head on below to see if you agree with his reasonings!
The best part is that this is going to be the first of many lists from Lucien. I won’t spoil any details but the guy has some upcoming lists that are just fantastic!

The new Evil Dead film will be coming out next Friday and it seems like the entire horror fanbase is on pins and needles awaiting its release. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen such hype for a horror release since I began here at Bloody-Disgusting back in late 2009. From the look of it, it’s a film that not only respects the horror fanbase but is a film made for us. Still, having not seen the film, I can only wait with you and hope for the best.

Hardcore band Counterparts has released an official video for “The Disconnect”, which comes off their latest release The Current Will Carry Us. The footage was filmed during their recent Canadian tour with Stray From The Path, Obey The Brave, Backtrack, and Northlane. Check it out below.
Vocalist Brendan Murphy comments, “The video for “The Disconnect” is a perfect representation of us as a band. When we go on tour, we aren’t there to impress anyone, we aren’t going to “work”, and we are going to have fun. Since day one, this band has been about having fun and making ourselves happy. This video gives people an insight into who we are when we aren’t on stage and how we spend our time. Whether it is skateboarding, trust-falling off our trailer, dancing, getting drunk, playing UNO in crappy hotel rooms or just straight up being children; you can be sure that we’re having the time of our lives. That’s what motivates us to get in the van time after time.” READ MORE

A few weeks ago I got the distinct pleasure of catching up with Andrew (Vocals) and Casey (Guitar) of hardcore group Comeback Kid. The interview took place in Chicago on the rooftop of the venue they were playing at while on tour with Four Year Strong. To say the least I had a great time and we had a few funny drunk moments. Enjoy!
Last night I got invited out to A Day To Remember’s listening party for their new album (which comes out today) “What Separates Me From You”. During my time there Jeremy (Vocals) and Josh (Bass) sat down and answered a few questions for me. Enjoy!

Courtesy of Victory Records we’ve got the exclusive premiere of Beneath The Sky‘s recently shot and creepy music video for Terror Starts At Home. The track hails from their latest album In Loving Memory which you can grab here. Before telling you to read on I’ve got to warn you, the end is very graphic, very NSFW, and I feel a little dirty after watching it. It’s definitely not something you want your mom/wife/girlfriend/co-workers to see on your computer screen as they walk by… or who knows maybe you do, either way I warned you. So with that said, read past the break and enjoy the latest from Beneath The Sky.
